High quality art and animation

Excellent voice over performances by Hayek. Her voice adds real emotion and color to the beautiful story. The visuals are flowing, soothing and the colors perfectly match the narrative. I really enjoyed this movie even though Neeson's dialogue was a bit stunted at times as it sounded as if he was reading the book and not having a conversation. Yet I get it, they remained true to the book, as much as they could, which still has a powerful and deep message for us all. Overall, a great effort and highly recommended.

Great philosophical film!

Beautifully animated vignettes featuring essays by the late Kahlil Gibran woven into a story about an imprisoned poet.
