Had never heard of this anime before purchasing, but I really like the story and the characters

The idea that this show took place at a circus show kind of scared me away from trying it out at first. Eventually, though, I decided that I was too curious about the series to not try it out. After watching the entire box set, I realized that if I would have never bought the series, I would have been missing out on what is now one of my favorite series of all time. (I'd actually put it in my top 5 list, and I've seen LOTS of anime.... emphasis on LOTS.....) Basically in the story you've got the main character, Sora, who wants to join the circus (more specifically, the Kaleido Stage). Things were shaky for her at first since she had accidentally missed the auditions, but she ended up getting a sort of second chance, and then finally succeeded in getting into the show. The series goes from there to show Sora's struggles in becoming a true Kaleido star, with the help of the "spirit of the stage", Fool. (Note: Kaleido Stage is not like a regular circus with crazy sideshow freaks and animals jumping through fire, it's actually one where talented people perform dangerous tricks based on different themes or stories, so it's actually really cool how this circus is shown....) All in all, this show has many good elements in it. It's a comedy, a struggle between rivals, a little bit of magic, a little bit of cute romance, and tons of action. It's unpredictable, and leaves you on the edge of your seat begging for more. I would highly recommend this to anyone who watches anime. If you don't like this show then you're crazy!!!

When I first heard about this anime from a friend, she told me everything about this one. But after seeing the preview, I thought to myself if it was good enough to collect it, and it was. But when I bought the entire series, it was amazing. I know it's very hard for Sora to focus on her goal. All she's got to do is believe in herself and she can do anything that her heart tells her to do. What this show really shows us is that we can have a great dream like Sora did. She has the courage to be what she wants to be, and always has her friends to watch her back and help her through tough times. . And it was cool for Tiffany Grant to play the roles of Charlotte and Jonathan the seal. So in closing, own this series. You will see what I mean.
