This is a nice deep fryer. It also has a filtering system for draining the clean oil.

Not sure why there are so many good reviews of this product. Not only did the basket handle fail repeatedly and not stay firm, the knob broke off as well because it is very cheap plastic. This product will not stand the test of time. Not even a few months.

I have only had a small fry daddy before but this is a complete different caliber for frying. By reading instructions, setup was very easy and yes the handle works fine if put together correctly. Very little clean up. Having the clean out for the oil is well worth the extra money.
