Received this unit as a gift. Initially had an issue with the power supply less than a year after receiving the unit. Had to pay to send the entire machine back, but they did replace the power cord and send the machine back to me for free. Unfortunately, less than a year after that, the power cord burnt out (literally burnt, I sent the company pictures of the melted cord) and the pin on the machine where the cord connects was burnt and not working either. After contacting the company and attempting to get them to fix this (which is the same problem as the first time, and obviously is due to their defective machine/parts) they stated that I would have to send the entire thing in the mail to them, again, and that I would have to pay up to $100 to get it fixed. So $30 shipping initially, $30 shipping now, and $100 to fix it = $160 extra I would have to spend just to ensure that the machine works for longer than 2 years, when it doesn't even cost $250 new? Disappointing. I guess companies no longer stand by their products. I will be telling everyone I know not to buy this product, nor to buy from Kalorik.
