I was really looking forward to using this product as I suffer constant pain in my hands. After I put it together and charged it, the first time I used it, it was great. However, subsequent attempts to use it required me to invert the peppercorns as the motor would run, but the grinder did not move. There was also the issue of the connection between the On button and the motor not connecting and therefore not running at all. After several days of having to "fiddle" with the thing to try and get it to work everytime I wanted pepper, I packed it back up and returned it.

Two and a half times the grinding power of what? I have my doubts that the Kalorik PPG 36584 Salt and Pepper Grinder Set could even dispense ground pepper. We followed the instruction, let the motor unit charge well over 24 hours, loaded the pepper unit with a small amount of peppercorns and we were ready to grind. The mill sounded like trying to start your car when the batter is almost dead. As soon as the motor started to turn, it stopped because it couldn't grind the peppercorns. I turned the unit on its side so the motor didn't have any contact with the peppercorns and once the motor started, I turned the unit upright. Same result, as soon as the peppercorns came into contact with the motor the unit "ground" to a halt. At least I know why the Kaloric is sold with a no return policy. If you want a stainless steel and glass modern art display on your counter, this is for you. If you need a pepper mill that works, save your money - this one is junk.
