My first ever Kamen Rider blu ray purchase and third peace of Kamen Rider merchandise i found in the wild. Highly recommended for KR veterans of the reiwa era ! Henshin!

Kamen Rider Zero-One is finally here on Blu-ray! The first physical release for Tokusatsu fans in the United States. If you’re a fan of Kamen Rider, you owe it to yourself to buy this, especially if you’d like to see other shows released. The Blu-ray comes with 8 discs, 45 episodes total, spread across 7 discs, with disc 8 including the specials and RealXEyez movie. The Blu-ray insert, has the episode’s numbers and titles, there are no options to turn off the subtitles. To me it’s not a problem, because I don’t speak or understand Japanese, although I wish I did. Picture and sound quality is great, feels good to be watching and listening to a Tokusatsu show in HD…legally! So if you’re a Tokusatsu fan, please pick this up, so maybe perhaps in the near future, we get more Tokusatsu Blu-ray releases! Especially Super Sentai (I miss the DVDs.) Highly recommended for a Kamen Rider fan, or any Tokusatsu fan. On another note, Happy Birthday to the father of Kamen Rider, & Super Sentai, Shotaro Ishinomori

Premiering in 2019, Kamen Rider Zero-One is the story of wannabe comedian Aruto Hiden as he is tasked with his grandfather’s dying wish: to take over his role as the CEO of family technology firm Hiden Intelligence, while moonlighting as Kamen Rider Zero-One, serving as protector to both humanity and Hiden’s Humagears, a race of fledgling advanced androids that are steadily advancing towards sentience. However, Aruto is soon drawn into a years long conspiracy to steal both Hiden Intelligence and poised to bring about the destruction of humanity as both the ZAIA Corporation and the supposedly destroyed AI satellite ARK set out to spark chaos by setting Humagears forth to send humanity to extinction. Against these odds, can Aruto stop both the machinations of ZAIA and the ARK and pave the future where humanity and Humagears can live and laugh together? The set contains eight discs with the full television run, alongside the theatrical film epilogue “RealXTime,” alongside the recap specials that aired throughout the run. Note however that while this is a complete set for the main story, it does not have the additional two “Zero-One Others” V-Cinext films, which have yet to be licensed for domestic release. This release marks the second time a full Kamen Rider series has been released Stateside, following Generation Kikaoda’s release of the 1970s series Kamen Rider V3 on DVD, and the third release for the franchise total with Media Blasters’ Tokyo Shock label releasing the reimagining film “Kamen Rider the First,” and marks the first physical media release for ShoutFactory’s Kamen Rider licenses. Kamen Rider Zero-One is also available for streaming via licensor ShoutFactory, as well as on their TokuShoutsu streaming channel along with the original Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Kuuga, Kamen Rider Ryuki and the feature film Kamen Rider: Heisei Generations Forever.

An excellent Blu-ray experience with crisp sound and audio. I would highly recommend this to anyone who'd like to get into the Kamen Rider franchise or fans of other tokusatsu series like Ultraman or Super Sentai.

A great Kamen Rider season to kick off the Reiwa era. Even though it isn't perfect, more people need to buy this set and hopefully more Kamen Rider seasons will be released here in the states.
