Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the gameplay in Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days, finding it fun and a dream for shooter fans. The third-person cover shooting is considered competent and enjoyable, especially in co-op. However, some suggest that newcomers to the series should approach with caution, as it's a unique style of shooter. The game's overall reception appears to be divisive.

    Violence + Violence + Violence = Fun

This game has gotten the oddest reviews I have ever seen. It's truly a love or hate relationship with Kayne & Lynch Dog Days. I did not play the first one but I am glad I played this one. I'll explain the game to you. You pick up your gun and never stop shooting. That's it! There aren't any fancy puzzles. You won't find any boss battles. There aren't any collectibles. Forget about every way video games have evolved. This is nothing more than one big shootout. That's it. You empty your clip into enemies then advance then empty then advance then empty. However. For a fan of shooters this is a dream for me. It's still fun. Kane & Lynch are very profane and very violent. The look of the game may turn some off. But if you like a gritty, hand held camera look that looks as if it was filmed by an underground group of murderers then you like this. The sound is great as well as the voice acting. The dialogue is downright phenomenal. Fans of John Woo and Q. Tarantino will love the overall game package. Bottom line, if you go into this game looking to ride chocobos and collect intel then you will have a rude awakening. But if you want to blow off some steam and just blast away an entire corrupt police force then rejoice! Because your Dog Days are here.

The 2 crazies are back for more...

Kane and Lynch are back and are in deeper $#!* than ever. This time around you play as Lynch..(single player) who lives in Shanghai. Kane shows up for what is supposed to be their last job. Before they even get to the job something goes completely wrong and without giving up story plots, lets just say the $#!* really hitz the fan. This is one of the most challenging shooters out there right now. The gun-fights are hectic and the AI isn't slow either. For starters Kane is a good shot. He will clean up a few of the guys you miss even take some out before you do. The enemy is pretty smart too...given the chance they will flank you and do seriuos damage. Forget about the online...its absolutely garbage, and that's all i'll say about that. Playing the game with two players is absolutely a blast...ala the 2nd. Army of 2 game. So the bottom line is this...it's a great campaign game especially with 2 live players, and stay away from the bad online play...

Solid but short 3rd person shooter

The best thing Kane and Lynch 2 has going for it is its unique visual style. The whole game looks like it is being filmed on a handheld video camera, complete with digital video artifacting, lens flare blowout, and shakycam. It really gives the game a memorable gritty feel. The gameplay is competent 3rd person cover shooting, and plenty of fun with a co-op buddy. The one major complaint is the short length of the single player campaign. At 4 hours, I finished it in one sitting. For only $10 or less, though, I would definitely recommend it.

Kane and Lynch 2 is a great sequel to the original game. The game take a while to get used to and aiming system isnt all that accurate. Its great if you liked the original but if you are new to the series, be careful since it's not your average shooter.
