Depends on the model of phone and the adapter/cable combination used. Never as fast as official apple cable. I was surprised how easily the coating near the lightning end came loose. The part that has Kanex on it slides back and forth. Very annoying. All in all I’m thankful for the price.

Did not have a long life

The only thing is after around 6 months of use, the actual plastic housing near the connector actually pulls off when I try to remove the lightning connector from my iPhone. My charger definitely has not been roughly handled, but I feel like the quality of this product could be a little bit better. :/
