    I purchased under the impression that this is an "automatic" switch with a remote or on unit button as optional. I have an Xfinity cable box, PS3, and PS4 hooked up to it. I have to use the remote to make the switch since I hid the unit behind my entertainment center. I have not had any video, sound, or any other issues with the unit. The misses and I didn't want another remote, which is the only reason why I purchased this unit.

    The Kanex pro HDMI switchers are not HDR compatible otherwise it works for non HDR 4k signals.

    Box works great but remote doesn't work, which is ok because box changes automatically when I turn on blue ray

    I tried to use this switch for Direct TV and Xbox One S but no picture comes through. I have traded HDMI cables and tried different ports nothing works. I tried calling the support number and have left numerous messages and have never heard back. Disappointing.
