Good way to get your child interested and invested in his own computer and taking care of it. We have had a very good experience with building the Kano PC and then useing it for remote learning.

A nice alternative to the much used iPad but definitely not a replacement. It’s heavy has no included webcam but fits the bill as an intro to coding for my child. Can perform all basic computing tasks with ease just don’t set your expectations too high. It is what it is.

Pretty satisfied with this. It’s fairly snappy, comes with Windows 10, and does a great job teaching the kids about computers & programming. We chose this to be the workhorse for our kids’ all-online elementary school this year, and so far it’s done the job nicely.

Fun set up for my child. Easy to use. First one we purchased had to be returned because the mouse would stop working and we would have to take the tablet off of the keyboard and put it back on to get the mouse to work. We exchanged it for a new one and have not had a problem since

I bought this Great machine for my son. The price is good. The design is stunning, clever features like the LED status lights make it easier to charge, and to use as both a tablet and a laptop. Overall very impressed

I got this item on sale, and for the price, it's a pretty good device for my 5 year old daughter to use for practicing typing on a keyboard, and to get exposure to the Windows ecosystem (she's a pro on an iPad already). It's a bit on the heavy side though.

the Touch screen and computer are not delectable. memory and drive storage not up gradable. Heavy. not standard keyboard. it is windows 10 so there is that. there are usb connections for external attachments

This is a great touchscreen laptop for kids. GOT it in the bb deals of the day. My 5 yo son loved it!

I like the computer in general but it doesn't have a camera. Which is odd and something I didn't think about. They do sell Webcam though.

It's great for kids where you get to assemble the laptop by connecting the battery, the speaker and snapping on the back cover. Very simple. It also has games for children to learn computer programming. It has a slot in the back to add more memory and since the back is clear, you can see what each part of the laptop does as it is all labeled clearly. The only thing I wish it had was an input for a microphone, but you can easily get a USB microphone adapter.

Good price and can use as a tablet or laptop. only drawback is lack of webcam.

Daughter loved it. But she lost interest in it too fast. I think she likes her amazon tablet more. Got it for her for christmas. Seems to work fine, she just has too many devices!!

My son loves this product. He is able to do his home schooling as well as his computer programming lessons. Great experience all around.

Our family has been KANO fans for years. I was a bit reluctant to purchase such a, well let's say, slimmed down computer. THIS little KANO has been awesome meeting all of my youngest son's homeschooling needs. When he's done with class, he spends extra time going through the included coding programs. I wish I could give this more stars, because for the value and functionality, this is a total homerun.

I love my laptop but I’m bummed because it’s not so easy to get a replacement power cord for. Love the touch screen. Was fun and easy to put together. Was happy to get the mobile security with the package! Thanks Best Buy!

A really cool first laptop for kids. It’s intimidating when you start, but it’s actually easy to put together. Make sure all of the items inside are connected properly before enclosing, as the enclosure is a little hard to get back open without risking damaging the tabs (unless you have pry tools). Getting out of S mode in windows is fairly easy and doesn’t affect speed, while allowing downloads of software that aren’t in Microsoft store. It’s very cute, the design of the keyboard case stand is genius. It can go from tablet to laptop in seconds and can run wizard101 just fine! Great value for the money and sturdy! Be careful with the charger, as the brick is imperative to charging this device. The male to male usb c cable can be replaced, but the charging brick has the proper voltage and amps for function, you won’t be able to substitute a regular usb brick with a usb c cord, as it won’t power or charge without the brick it comes with. Kano customer service is fast in responding to emails and they’re sending me a replacement charger at no cost as I am still under warranty. When it’s all set up, it’s pretty adorable and I love the lights and how you can see the “guts” of the laptop. Fun all around.

While I was not expecting a lot for $199 my 8 year old son loved getting it for Christmas and is very happy with it. I was concerned about how Minecraft would run on it but surprisingly the Windows 10 "bedrock" version that comes with the laptop works fairly smoothly and is perfectly playable. As my son wanted both versions of Minecraft I also purchased and installed the Java Edition of Minecraft which unfortunately did not run so well and is borderline unplayable. I guess this is why the laptop comes with the Windows 10 version and not the Java Edition of Minecraft. For the other small games that he likes to play the laptop works fine and it is quick to come up and has decent battery life. Again, for the price, we are very pleased with this purchase.

Getting to assemble it is half the fun. Materials engage young people without condescending. Machine bulky but sturdy.
