It's a complicated set up and the crime is intercut with real jazz players jamming on actually 1930s jazz tunes in the 1930s style. It's not for everyone. if you love Jazz; If you love Altman; If you like period films...Then i recommend this. However, this is not NASHVILLE nor is it M*A*S*H. Nice package from Arrow Academy. Serious Altman or Jazz fans only. You have been warned.

Jazz clubs and corruption are key in Kansas City

There are gangsters and kidnappers and drugs and jazz galore. Try this film just for the great jazz club scenes!
