I purchased these from another site(they had a nice sale), figured I'd post my review here as well. The first thing I listened to with these speakers was the Borderlands game soundtrack, it immediately sounded different as I heard sounds I had never noticed before. A very good first impression. After hooking the speakers up to my TV with a toslink cable I fired up my Playstation 4 I loaded up a game and again heard sounds that I hadn't noticed before (I had been using a pair of Yamaha HS-50 studio monitors with my TV). Comparing the sound to the Yamaha HS-50s it was tough to tell much of a difference they both sound very good to me. I ended up switching out the Yamaha HS-50s for the Kanto YU5 because of the convienience of the remote and bluetooth. I have my YU5 speakers roughly 7 feet apart and the sound sounds like it's coming from right in front of me. The default base bass and treble settings both sound good to me so I haven't fooled around with them too much. I actually like the bass from these speakers, it sounds like it belongs there and doesn't drown out the rest of the music. With some of my cheap $20 - $30 speakers the bass just seemed to add a thump every so often regardless of what kind of music was playing. I've only had these speakers for about 2 weeks but so far I don't have any major complaints. Minor complaint is that when the speakers auto shutoff while on the bluetooth, you will have to manually turn the speakers back on. With the corded audio signals auto shutoff the speakers will turn themselves back on when they again detect an audio signal. Overall I am very happy with these speakers.

I ordered a pair of these from BestBuy.com (mostly based on the reviews I read on Amazon [sorry guys!]). I was really excited about the idea of having 5 different inputs in a really nice looking speaker. First off, the speakers sound and look great. I was really impressed with the audio quality. Crisp highs and deep lows (for small bookshelf speakers). I thought the remote was a bit annoying. There's only a volume knob on the actual speakers. All other functionality, including input selection and bass/treble adjustments have to be done with the remote. Not a deal breaker, just another remote to have to keep track of. Then I started having some trouble with the Bluetooth and Optical inputs. Bluetooth mostly worked fine, but would sometimes glitch a bit at the beginning of a song. Like, it would jump a half second ahead. The optical input was the deal breaker. It didn't work at all. In fact, after trying to connect an optical cable from my 2013 TV, the speakers became unresponsive. I returned them.
