So far, so good. I've used other Kaspersky products to clean a computer which became infected while using a Symantec product. Seems easy to use and others rated it pretty good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't had it long enough to know whether its all it says it is. Time will tell whether it lets anything get through.

I was having problems with my computer. I was afraid I had a virus. Don't know what was wrong with my PC but the software found it and fixed it. I was able to download this onto two of my PC's. It is a good price to save two computers

I personally wouldn't buy this product, because there are really great products on the internet that's free. This came free with a laptop. I have used Kaspersky before and have liked it. This one is good for 3 computers and it's good for a year. Use it while it's free, then download some equivalent software from the interenet that is free.

Before using this software I used Trend Micro for two years. Kaspersky works pretty similar to trend in the way the screens are set up but is lacking one feature I particularly liked: On Trend Micro you could check a box that let you do an auto shut down after the scan was done. I like Kaspersky. It is keeping my machine running safely.

We like the security Kaspersky provides. Easy to install on our 3 computers-using one disc. Had to get a new computer and had to use one of the three uses even though it had only been on our old computer for a couple of weeks.

This is a great basic internet security system. I got it included through purchasing the 2 year tech support bundle which is the best deal I think. So far Kaspersky has been useful in removing cookies and other malware from my new laptop and it is easy to run a scan whenever you want, in addition to the regularly scheduled scans.

I was recommended this by a Best Buy employee and so far its working great. I download a lot of torrents and so far I'm virus free. Also, there aren't a lot of annoying pop-ups/updates like there can bewith other software.

I have this software installed on a desktop and a laptop with Windows XP. It's been running for a few days now and it is performing well. It was easy to configure and does what I expect from an anit virus program. It updates automatically, scans files and email and monitors incoming web traffic for dangerous scripts.

Geek squad got my laptop working again after viruses had disabled it. However, Geeker who repaired monitor on desktop told me that Kaspersky copy should not be installed on desktop computer which already has Norton Antivirus.. So I've left Kaspersky only on laptop computer. Must investigate whether this is tur.

This is a good product. As most people know Mac's are almost completely safe from viruses. This product protects against the other viruses and threats to your computer. It took me a little while to get it installed, (keep in mind that i am new to the Mac system) but was till pretty simple to figure out.

I got this program free with the purchase of my new laptop, an excellent deal! The program works great; it's easy to use and protects great. It uses a good amount of operating space and has to renew yearly, but that seems to be the case for all antivirus software so I can't complain. Works great overall.

This was a free antivirus software that came with my new laptop. I had not used this previously, however I do use another software on all my computers which is the best AVG on the market in my opinion. I appreciated the opportunity to try another software, but will stay with the one I currently use.

OK for Windows - DONT USE ON MAC!!! KILLS Mac!

I purchased a total of 3 MacBook Pro computers from Best Buy on Black Friday. Best Buy was kind enough to include a 3 license 6 month free copy of Kaspersky for both Mac and Windows with each Mac purchased. That seemed good, and I had previously used Kaspersky on Windows before with reasonable results. I installed the software on the MacIntosh with Mountain Lion 10.8.2 OS-X operating system. The install itself was fairly painless. I did the install, and let the software do the typical updates. It seemed to work and while it was performing an initial scan I installed it on a second MacBook I bought for my daughter. I then went back to using the Mac. I was preparing to install Windows 8 in boot camp, and had downloaded some Windows .exe files and then the computer died. It seems as soon as Kaspersky attempted to scan an .exe file it just totally locked up. What had been a flawless Mac just froze dead. I restarted by holding the power button, and once again it locked up dead. I then restarted in safe mode and tried to delete Kaspersky as with most Mac apps by dragging the application from the application folder to the trash. Nope, that didn't work. The only way to get rid of it was to run the uninstall program while in safe mode. That made the Mac work again, and I was then able to manually remove what the uninstaller still left behind. That included plug ins in the browsers, and hidden configuration (. files). I then immediately uninstalled the software from the second Mac I had installed it on before it seemed to do any damage. While many say that no security software is needed on a Mac, I thought I would be "safer" and install it. That was mistake. DO NOT INSTALL ON A MAC!!! After this experience I looked on the web and my experience was by far not unique. Fortunately I was knowledgeable enough with a Mac and UNIX file systems to get rid of this mess. Others may be less capable. Simply stay away on a Mac. The reason I gave 2 stars was for Windows. I did eventually install Windows 8 in Boot camp on the same Mac. While I was apprehensive after the Mac experience, my previous Windows experience with Kaspersky was OK, and it has received OK reviews so I installed it in Windows 8. So far it seems to be working OK in Windows. I had it so I used it. I typically have been using either Norton Internet Security or Norton 360 for Windows machines. I expect that after the 6 month version expires I will use Norton. One other irritant was while the price was right at free for 6 months, the clock started ticking the day I bought the software, not when it was installed. Even though the software wasn't installed for about a month after purchase, it only had 5 months remaining. Best Buy had already "activated" it at purchase. Gee thanks. I'm sure it is given away free with the hope that people will simply renew it. It is almost ALWAYS cheaper to buy a new product rather than the renewal, and if it is the same product you can typically use the new product key and not reinstall. In this case I will likely use Norton for the Windows 8 install, and either stay without anything or try Norton on the Mac as well. I reiterate - DO NOT INSTALL ON THE MAC - IT WILL KILL YOUR MAC DEAD. The need to use a special uninstall application to remove the software on the Mac, and even then it still leaving a lot behind I find simply and totally unacceptable as well. Be forewarned, don't even think about installing on a Mac.
