I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about spending $450 on speaker stands but the quality and appearance of these stands is exceptional, a perfect match for the KEF LS50 Meta speakers.

Bhought these to go with LS50 wireless 2. The stand is sturdy and we'll constructed. I was able to put it together and mount the speakers in under an hour.

A must if own ls50s. Had my speaker’s mounted on entertainment console. Although it looked cleaner and minimalist, I wasn’t satisfied sonically as they claimed to be very detailed sounding. After demoing a hi end system from a store, I now know what audiophiles mean when they say the speakers will disappear when placed properly. So had to buy them on stands to get them away from the walls which was 3ft. When I did that, it made the ls50 meta worth every penny, I had b&w stands which is about same price, but this is more solid and better looking. More importantely, this bolts to ls50s. Other stands would have to drill out new holes or just sit on top with blue tack. Filling it is a must, lessens resonance and prevent from tipping over so easily specially if you have kids. Only negative is that it comes with spike feets. Only if it came with some kind of rubber foot for hard. Oh and if you decide on putting some kind of ISO footing, the threads are going to be an issue. Most feet’s threads are 8x1.25. For some reason these are 8x1. Other than that, it is a nice look stand that matches, especially if you got the colored ls50

I decided these speakers deserved the stands that were made for them...it was a good decision. I ordered them and they arrived quickly at Best Buy. They look great, they help stabilize the speakers so I don't worry about them falling to the floor, and they are solidly built. I would give 5 stars, but the pieces on the bottom to protect hardwood floors are difficult to place and if you move the speakers, you have to place them again. I wish they had figured out a way to get them to screw on or made them magnetic.

I went to Best Buy to look at speaker stands for my KEF speakers. I was going to get some other brand, these were actually made for the speakers I had so I figured that it's an investment and I ordered them. They came in 2 days and were easy to put together. They also have a place you can hide the speaker wire inside the stand.
Only negative I can say is that the speaker sits right on top, they don't screw into the stand.

These stands look fantastic and compliment the design and color of the KEF LS50 Wireless II. They're well manufactured with a good quality finish, easy to assemble and securely hold the speakers.

Not cheap but nicely machined and (for me) an attractive match for the KEF LS50.
The box is surprisingly small. Assembly is largely straightforward although I confess I did puzzle over the set screws (used for the leveling spikes); I found the (largely wordless) instruction opaque on this (where do these extremely tiny screws go?).
I will eventually add some sort of filler (sand or something); I haven't yet decided exactly what I will do in this regard. The web is full of opinions, as usual.

I ordered these speaker stands for my LS50w2 speakers. I was able to order an opened box set in "excellent condition" for about $150 less than retail. More than 24 hours later, Best Buy cancelled my order. I called to find out why and was told that someone at Best Buy entered them incorrectly into their system and they actually were not available in my area. (I can see them online today marked as "unavailable nearby".)
Given that Best Buy made an error, I asked if they would consider allowing me to purchase the new speaker stands at a discount. The associate said no. I asked to speak with his manager, and after waiting on hold, he said he would transfer me to his manager. In fact, he transferred me back to their main menu (after a delay). It seems like good business sense to compromise with a customer when you make an error, but that didn't happen in this case. That's the reason for my rating; I'm unhappy with how the transaction went, not with the stands themselves.
