This double feature is so good! Two classic war movies in one collection. If you want some comedy with some good action sequences, Kelly's Heroes is worth watching. If you want espionage with some great action sequences, Where Eagles Dare is for you!

All time classic war flick,two for the price one highly recommend with an all star cast

Both are war movies, but totally different. Kelly’s Hero’s has a comedic flavor, while Where Eagles Dare is total suspense with amazing scenery too. It’s based on the book by the same name written by Alastair McClean.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Kelly’s Heroes. I think it’s a fun imaginative movie. But I consider it a bonus to the real reason I bought this. Where Eagles Dare is one of my favorite movies. The cast, story, cinematography are all top notch. Tons of action. Might be Clint Eastwood’s highest body count. But it’s ok, they’re (the bad guys you apparently can’t name anymore)Richard Burton is great as guy whom seems to have any situation well in hand. A great movie. High recommend you see it.

Two fine war pictures.. Kelly's Heroes has all of the shoot them up and bombing highlights you would expect from a war picture. What you might not expect is the story line that is comedy at its best. A lot of fun! Where Eagles Dare is a fine example of the early Clint Eastwood effort along with a veteran star in Richard Burton. I have seen the movie many times and never get tired of it. The ending is a surprise. To get both movies on Blu ray for a great price together makes this purchase a must have.

Comedy is not the main game. But this film has it in spades. With a riddling of harsh ww2 service life and a main goal worth possible death for. It throws an all star cast to push a narrative that you don't have to die for the war, but for your own wants. Through the entire film I was smiling. Count this film as one of the best to own. Just to show to friends and share the referencing you make from it...

Kelly's Heroes is a good light-hearted WWII movie that I really enjoy watching. Great cast and humorous throughout, can't take it seriously. Where Eagles Dare is a bit more on the serious side but still a great movie. I would recommend both films if you are into WWII and Clint Eastwood work.

Kelly's Heroes & Where Eagles Dare are both classics especially for the WW2 genre. Kelly's Heroes has an all star cast about a group of G.I.'s after German gold. It's a rare WW2 comedy packed with some great humor. Where Eagles Dare is another rare WW2 classic bringing Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood together putting the two characters on a mission to infiltrate an impregnable German castle.

When you combine Clint Eastwood with World War II you get great movies. Both of these movies are just that. Kelly's Heroes is one of the most unique war movies you will ever see and with a sensational cast. Where Eagles Dare includes Richard Burton so how can you go wrong??? Both highly recommended!!!

Both movies are classics. I liked the picture quality on both discs. Neither film has a stunning sound track. But I was emersed in the movies and thoroughly enjoyed it despite the large number of times I have seen both. Beats showings on cable movie channels.
