I got this lock primarily for travel later in the year. I use my laptop at home and rarely take it to public places where I would want to secure it. I will, however, take wherever my laptop goes.

I purchased this lock for my daughter who is a freshman in college. This lock is durable, and easy to use. Don't waste your money on cheap versions. This is so far one of the best

I bought two of these at the same time. I expected them to have different keys, but they are both the same. Therefore anyone with a Kensington key can come and take your device. I recommend the locks with a combination over these.

I've had this cable about a week now and it definitely serves it's purpose. Very easy to to secure, just snap it on, no key required! Only need the key to unlock the unit. Lock mechanism appears to be well built and the multiple flex points make it non-binding. All in all, it's worth the money for your peace of mind and laptop security. Kudos to Kensington for a well built and easy to use product!

I love my laptop lock. I use it everyday to secure my laptop just in case. There have been instances of laptops being stolen at my school and I am happy to know that it will not happen to me. It is efficient and very easy to install and use. I think it only took about 5 minutes to install, and the key makes it so easy to open when I need to move my laptop.

I'm going to use it to secure my laptop at college. It came with two keys that were brightly colored and easy to find. I like the product and would recommend it.

It is a good lock if you are trying to avoid combination locks. I have heard horror stories about those and with my business time is essential. Overall the lock works, but I have found myself having to jiggle to key at times to get it to work. One time it took me almost 5 minutes of messing with the key and lock, just to get it open.
