Worked well, was sturdy and simple to set up for the first few months. Unfortunately the rubber grips that hold the mount in the vent, slipped off leaving just the metal teeth underneath that are too small and weak to hold the weight of the phone, not to mention scratching the plastic vents. Not worth it considering the cost. There are cheaper more reliable ones available.

I have a larger car mount in our other car which can get in the way of the wiper controls. I was drawn to this unit because of its small size and strong grip. I drive other vehicles at times and this unit is very portable and stores easily. A higher price than most but the benefits are worth it. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is with the vertical vanes on my cars vents and how I mount the phone near the base there has been a little slipping down the vent at times.

The Kenu works quite well. IT will hold your phone very securely and will mount to just about any vent. The holder is spring loaded to ensure a constant grip on your phone as you drive. The only minor complaint I have is that because it is spring loaded, it can be a wee bit difficult to place your phone in it and remove it. Although this as a minor price to pay to ensure that your phine stays where you want it to.

very strong spring to hold the phone, feels a little expensive for just being such a small thing but does what it says. The phone will lay flat against the air vent so if your car has vents that are at a higher angle then it is difficult to see the phone (Girlfriend has a honda civic and it is at a seep angle, in my truck it is much better with the vertical air vents) I have a Droid Maxx and girlfriend has a iPhone 6 Plus and both are held in snugly.

This car mount works well with my Note 5, it pretty much can fit any Android or Apple cell phone. easy to use, takeoff, and to handle! nice size, not too big showing.

I saw this wierd looking dodad and noticed that it had a different type of attachment to a heater grate than its competition--rubber vs. plastic and in a shape that wouldn't break off. I've used this for two weeks now, and although I thought it was a bit pricey, it really is perfect. It sticks to the heat grate well, it holds my phone tight, it comes out of the grate when I'm not using it, and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

It securely holds my Galaxy S7. Has never fallen out either the phone from the holder or the holder from the vent. Very small profile so it's unobtrusive without the phone. It's hard to insert or remove the phone with one hand and since the mount sits flush with your vent, there is no way to alter the angle of the screen. It can be rotated, but not angled. Still a good product.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Price seems a bit high to me, but I have two of these and they've been doing their thing for years. Especially handy for travel when you don't want to cart around a suction cup holder. Magnet mounts are equally portable but I'm generally not a fan of the piece of metal that is required on the back of my case.

I had purchased a cell phone holder for my car. I have leather everywhere, so I was limited as what types I could use. Finally found one which, although kind of expensive, I bought it. It was to "snap" into my AC vent. I guess the manufacturer didn't take into consideration that these are not all the same, in every car. It fit, but it was far from perfect. If I made a sharp turn, off it came and my phone was strewn across the dash and it caused a huge pita. On one of these occasions, it went flying and broke. So, I was in need of another. Back to Best Buy, and while looking for something that would be right for both my wife's car and mine, I found this one. It was $20 less than the previous purchase and it works perfectly, in both cars.. Her phone is smaller than mine, but the spring loaded mechanism works perfectly. It, also, is almost flat against the AC vent, so it doesn't look obnoxious. I recommend this highly, especially if you are on your phone in the car and use bluetooth. Good purchase, Very happy customer!!

This fit pretty well for my Nexus 6P. It's simple to attach, and keeps the phone in place perfectly. My only reservation is that it's so low profile that your phone might rub up against the dash depending on how your car vent is configured in relation to the dash. My phone is in the bracket for long periods of time, and so far, so good.

Bought a Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and needed something to hold it tight in the car. This item really exceeded my expectations and holds my new phone with a death grip. The price is a little over the top considering what you get, but if you have a large phone/GPS/whatever, this simple little gadget does the trick. It does sit very close to the vent, so make sure you have room once it's on. The grips in the back are easily removable and also has two different slots for different vent sizes & angles.

I bought one of these a few years back as a gift for my boyfriend and I've been beating myself up ever since for not buying myself one. When I saw BestBuy carrying them, I grabbed one. I use it nearly every time I'm driving. It's great for displaying Google Maps easily, as well as if you're playing music and need to quickly skip a song, etc. The one iffy thing is that I have a new Samsung Galaxy J7 (the none exploding kind, phew), and with a small case around it, it JUST BARELY fits into the grip, but it does fit. So I guess just be careful if you have a massive, 500lb phone and a case on top of that. Overall, it holds tight to my air vents and doesn't move. It sits fairly secure there, just make sure you've got the rubber prongs all the way over your vent blind. The only other thing to mention is that if you've got a weirdly designed car like mine, where you CAN'T close the air vents, just be careful to not have hot air blowing onto the back of your phone. Obviously don't want to overheat the thing. Enjoy.

Unit fits nice into the car vent small and easy to maintain we’ll balanced and stable. If you need a really good phone mount, I would definitely recommend this one.

This is a very strong holder. Fits my Samsung Note 3 with plenty of room to spare. I bought another for my wife. It has no problem holding her I Phone 7 with case.

This is the third Kenu Car Mount that I have purchased. The first was the original smaller version that fits the iPhone 5, 5S and SE. The last two purchased have been this larger version that fits the newer larger iPhone 6S as well as the older iPhone 5, 5s and SE models. FANTASTIC! They work well and are useful when traveling to use in rental cars. So far, I haven't forgotten one when returning the rental cars.

Doesn't really grip the vent well but it's great with griping the phone and once installed you have to close the vent so you don't heat/cool your phone (not good to push phone to extreme temps) but once you find a good spot on the vent and it stays firm it's pretty usefull I would still prefer the ones that attach your windshield.

Just what we were looking for. Extremely easy to use and securely holds the phone (iPhones 6 and 5S) and is secure to the car without adhesives/magnets.

Simple design and works the way is intended. Grips well to the vents and it’s very easy to get a device in and out of it.

This phone holder is excellent for keeping the phone within reach, but doesn't block your view out the windshield and thereby prevents distractions. It is easy to mount onto the vent, but it blocks some of the air coming from the vent. Workaround is to mount the holder on the lowest vent fin and the phone as low as possible.

Sturdy vent clip that adjusts to fit your phone securely. Easy to use and does exactly what it says. Very happy with this purchase.
