No CD player, who cares are we still in the 90's. The receiver sounds clear. The Bluetooth pairs better than my Ford. And it was cheap.

I bought this stereo for my husbands pickup for his birthday. He loves it! Bluetooth feature is awesome! Easy to use stereo.

I bought this radio after the one I installed in my car started to glitch every time I touched it. I was a little hesitant giving up the ability to play CDs, but then I remembered that I don't even know if the one in the old radio worked. I don't think I ever used it. I choose this radio because it has AVRCP, AptX, and HD radio. Really, the only thing that my phone supports in AVRCP, but I wanted AptX so if any subsequent phone has it, I wouldn't need to replace the stereo. And even though HD radio is not really a good selling point, I still wanted it in the rare event I actually switch to listen to something being broadcasted. There is one thing that doesn't work well on the radio: time sync. For whatever reason, it sets the time to the mountain time zone even though I'm in the central time zone. I didn't know that radios even could sync their clock with radio broadcasts, so this is not something I really care doesn't work, but in case you were buying this radio solely for that feature, I wouldn't depend on it working well.

Great sound and very easy to use. I was surprised at the low cost of this item and such a great sound.

Good sound quality, and easy installation. Easy to read display makes operation easy, as well.

Good overall receiver held back by a weak daytime display. Bright sunlight it's hard to read. Not sure what Kenwood had in mind or if anyone bother testing during the day. There's no cd slot which is fine for me since most of the media is playback through my phone. Controls could be easier to operate. Quicker way to learn them is watching a YouTube somine did on this receiver.

After trying different receivers for Harley Davidson motorcycles, I have found the best so far. This Kenwood is packed with a lot of features for a great price. Bluetooth is great and works my apps flawlessly. FM Radio reception is very good. Menu is easy to navigate and allows you to customize audio setting easily. Has a lot of features only found in higher priced receivers. A++

I bought this head unit for my work truck so I can talk and drive hands free. The install was painless. The blue tooth set up was simple and there is no CD unit to go out. I work in the field and my truck has no A/C so it's a dust cloud in side the truck. So less moving part to get jacked up. I'm getting another work truck and will be buying another same unit this week.

Very good for the price. Very disappointed in the geek squad that installed it. Because they put it in and we picked it up and got home and it didn't work! called them and they said bring it back. Who ever installed it didn't test it???? They had to put a new receiver in and it is good. Have no trust in the Springfield geeks!

I wanted bluetooth connectivity as I was tired of having to mess with the charger cable. With a push or two of the source button, I'm on my way to listening to my favorite music and talk radio personalities. Many sound adjustment options. I have this paired with a Kenwood amplifier and subwoofer.

I used this radio to upgrade my current head unit so that I can listen to SiriusXM. Of course, you will need the SiriusXM adapter though. The audio output (power) was pretty good as well. The feature I like is that you are able to connect two bluetooth devices at the same time.

works well, easy to install, down side- led is nearly impossible to see at times during the day, the buttons and controls are not intuitive and takes awhile to learn basic operating functions, can't seem to get the stereo to dim or brighted with the dash lights

The Radio suits what I needed, it was installed in a 2003 Ford explorer with additional mounting Kit, very good sound, nice features. It has optional feature where you can take the front control panel off for security, (No radio in this car, guess I won't break-in..lol).

Upgraded my older Kenwood HD/CD in-dash with this one that offered Bluetooth and was surprised at the improvements included in the newer model, better customization capabilities and the color options for the display are a very nice touch. Audio quality is top notch!
