Great. Got the job done. Easy to install. Can’t go wrong.

The Plastic + - brackets were very chincy. Broke upon installation. Also, I could only refit 2 or 3 screws back into the pre drilled holes. Speaker covers were not needed for the installation in my specific vehicle. But these were on sale for $29.99. Instead of the $79.99 for the Kicker brand. I believe the kicker speakers would have been the better option, imho. I ended up having to wire in two extra 6x9 speakers. Taking my total speaker count up to 8 speakers.

It's a shame that Kenwood can trick people into thinking these are actually 6.5" speakers. The outer diameter of the housing isn't even 6.5". The woofers are only 5". Do some simple math, a 6 5" woofer has 70% more surface area than a 5" woofer. I know these aren't expensive but that doesn't mean the manufacturer can be dishonest. These speakers would not even fit in the factory spot because they were so small. I had to return them. The magnet was really small too. Smaller than the factory Ford speaker. I expected better from Kenwood. Shame on them.

I'm no audio expert but to me these speakers sound clean with any type of radio I had installed in my car. Great sounding (budget) speakers. Universal installation for most applications. The crossover/tweeter feed wire was long enough and was easily routed through the existing clips and grommets. The only modification I made was to remove the tweeters from they're mounting brackets and removed the grilles. They fit perfectly in the factory door sail mount I also fabricated a wedge underneath to direct the output toward the rear of cab more, so the highs would fill the space better. These speakers did exactly as I expected and I now have great mids and highs in the cabin of this car.

Excellent speakers. These are tuned for highs and mid-range. Not a good choice if you are trying to maximize bass frequencies. Very crisp almost studio monitor quality for mid to high frequency. Would probably be ideal if paired with a subwoofer. Great value at $20/pair.

Nice, rich low-end bass, decent mids, & nice highs. Great budget speakers. I'm running a 50WRMS/channel Kenwood amp. Truly convinced the amp is under-powered. Should probably run closer to 75-80 W RMS through these for a better experience.

Bought these to upgrade my blown factory speakers in my 2010 avalanche. Couldn't beat the price for 29 bucks. The installation was a breeze and the sound quality was decent. They had good mid and high range not so much for bass. Still better than oem. Cant go wrong with these speakers 2pair for under 70 bucks.

Bought these to install in my 2009 Honda CR-V. After installing with a adapter bracket these sound alright. Really they do treble really well and mids are good. They just don't handle sub-bass well. But for more vocal songs or podcasts they work wonderfully for the price. It's hard to have outstanding audio at $30. It is a you get what you pay for kind of product.

My speakers had blown out in my car. They were old speakers and they were still the factory ones. I was looking for music back into my life quickly because I enjoy listening to it on my drives. They are substantial if you do not need a lot of bass and just look to have speakers that function well. I can’t say they are above average because they cannot handle having the bass up on them at all. I didn’t pay much for them though and they still work just as fine as any other speaker. I’d say on the contrary; the best buy website did sell me the wrong wires and spacers. So I would be careful about that if you are thinking of buying these.

These speakers sound noticeably better than the original worn out factory speakers that I had. The only thing to be aware of is no mounting bracket is included and if needed, you would have to purchase these separately. Luckily, I was able to still install these using what was already in place of my door panel. The bass is great and is able to handle and produce a loud flow of music if desired. I like to have the sunroof open and play music on the highway loud enough that the wind doesn't drown out the sound so these will suffice in those moments. Installation was on the easy side - I did have to improvise a bit when using what was preinstalled from the factory speakers but it worked out fine.

I purchased a pair to add to my 6 speakers and 2 subwoofers setup. I was pleasantly surprised by how the y sound. This was a good decision and the price was fantastic.

Needed speakers to replace the factory units in my camper. They came with the updated plugs and extensions. Multiple mounting holes were nice, as well as the cover being integrated into the install. Simple, clean, better highs and lows from HD radio or when the TV is run through the AUX. For the money, it would be hard to beat.

I bought these to replace the water damaged stock speakers in my 2012 GMC Terrain. I couldn't stand the buzzsaw sound coming out of the old ones anymore but I wasn't sure how far I wanted to go with this repair. I wasn't ready for replacing the whole system. Since I was only looking for a quick fix the price on these are what sold me on them. I was very happy with it. The sound is good. I'm not sure if it was the fact that the old speakers were so bad but I'm impressed with the clarity and imaging. I can actually enjoy my music. They can't handle a great amount of bass so you have to be careful and not play them too loud with a lot of lows. You'll hear the voice coil hitting it's limit. Luckily the car has a sub so I don't need much boom from them. I was able to make them fit but I would recommend getting the adapters specific for the car. I had to bust up the old speakers in order to reuse the frames as a mounting bracket. It was easy enough but it would've taken much less time and would not have made a mess. For me, though I'd rather be cheap. All in all, These little Kenwoods did what they needed to do at a price I was comfortable paying. Cheers!

These speakers are pretty awesome! The sound quality is surprisingly good, especially for their size. They're definitely a bit on the smaller side, which might not be for everyone. But if you're looking for a compact setup that still packs a punch, these are a solid choice. I'm really happy with the audio they produce.
These sound pretty good for the cost. They fit my car perfectly. Used the quick connectors that Best Buy sells and they installed fairly easily with slight modification.

There is something to be said about these little guys. For the price point, they are excellent, but do not expect $200 sound to come out of them. With that in mind, the highs are good (able to hear and decipher lyrics), the mids are there (not missing out on certain parts of the song), and the lows are mid-range which represented very well (don't expect sub-woofer level lows). These are an all-around type of speaker, pair them with an amplifier 600W is plenty, gives a new meaning to the speakers. My set-up is these in my front doors, the same series 6x9's in the rear, and 600W 2-channel amp, wired in parallel set-up.

If your in need of something that’ll put an end to that awkward silence between you and your cars noises, these speakers gotcha covered, but they don’t do much more than that.. that will put off some decent sound when your use to having none, but lack any type of bass whatsoever. But, I got them on sale for $30, and honestly, I’d buy them again. Good for a 1998 maxima that’s well past her prime!

An honest to goodness great value - maybe the best in car audio. That doesn't mean they're the greatest speakers or even close to it. It just means you get a lot for what you pay. Great OEM replacement speaker. The highs and mids really are quite nice. But the bass is either non existent or just plain flat. Without a predetermined alternative source for low frequency tones in your music, they will leave everything feeling like something is missing. And that's because something IS missing.

I was shocked with the sound quaily of this speakers for the price I paid for them. They sound great in my truck. Plenty of bass but cleae vocals and smooth sound! The install was about as easy as it could be. I would absolutely purchase these again for my other vehicles.

If you are on a budget like me and you don't have a lot to spend, these speakers are a great choice! They typically run $40 for a pair but for black Friday they were $20 a pair so I bought 2 boxes of them (4 Speakers). So far I have only replaced the front 2 speakers in my 2013 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab. These speakers are much clearer and sound more better than the stock speakers, with the mids and highs sounding more crisp and clearer than the terrible stock GM speakers. Although you will not expect a ton of bass with these, but I did expect them to either. But for the price, these are great speakers!
