No bones about it, the Carafe that comes with the most recent models of Keurig are nothing but plastic and does not keep your coffee hot. But the Keurig - 2.0 Coffee Carafe - Silver/Black is well insulated and keeps your coffee hot. I think Keurig should include these with the purchase of their new Keurig Coffee machines, but they don't. The Keurig 2.0 Coffee Carafe is a must have to go with your new machine.

We had to experiment with the setting to get the brew right. Holds about 4 cups of coffee and keeps it hot. Rounds out the buy! Also, cheaper at Best Buy by about $5 from other retailers.

This Carafe is easy to use without causing spillage and actually does keep the coffee warm after brewing. Its not going to keep it hot for long but warm enough.

This works perfectly when I want to make more than 12 ounces. Keeps the coffee hot for awhile.

This carafe keeps coffee hot for HOURS. If Keurig were smart instead of greedy they would include these with the Keurig 2's - the plastic pots are worthless, unless you need a pitcher for room temp liquids. For best performance pre-heat the pot with hot water before brewing.

Whether you have company or want to have already ready coffee to drink during the day, this carafe offers you that. It works perfectly with the Keurig and keeps the coffe hot for several hours. And...it's very easy to clean!

Great extra for my new Keurig 2.0 unit. Nice to make a full carafe of coffee with just one carafe pod versus using 4 individual pods for one cup brewing. The coffee will stay warm in the carafe for about 2 hrs. Definitely worth getting if you are a coffee drinker or host coffee drinkers for get togethers!

I love my carafe keurig it fits well on the 2.0 that I have. I like the stainless steel it keeps my coffee warm for more than 30 min. A little pricey but worth it.

Works great to keep coffee warm -- should have come with the unit in the first place. The plastic one that came with the unit basically is good for holding coffee and that is it. This one was well worth the money if you don't drink the whole pot right away.

have used stainless steel carafe since christmas morning and glad that i got it, keeps the coffee hot and fresh longer than the plastic one that comes with with keurig coffee maker...for the price you pay for the keurig this one ought to come included.

This carafe is made especially for Keurig machines. It has a nub at its base that fits into the brewer and presumably tells it that you're using a carafe vice a mug or cup. The carafe does a fine job of keeping tea (in my case) hot. It has another nice feature in that as the machines brews my carafe of tea, the hot liquid enters a specially designed opening in the carafe lid that allows the liquid to flow into the carafe without having the top wide open. I think this helps keep the tea or coffee hot in the carafe. Overall, I've been very pleased with this carafe and would recommend it to someone who has a Keurig machine. However, do make sure it will work for your particular model machine. I don't think it works for all of them. I have a 2.0 Plus.

This carafe does a great job of keeping coffee hot over the course of the morning. I've had days were it was 4 hours before i got to the end of the pot, and it was still hot. much better than that rink-dink carafe that came with the 2.0 brewer.

Keeps a pot of coffee pretty dang hot for a while. Just upgraded from our single serving maker to one that can do single and a carafe. Seems to be well insulated and pours nicely. I like it!

Don't waste money on the other carafe, this one is stainless and washes easily. Keeps coffee hot for a long time.

This product came in a bundle with the Keurig - 2.0 K200 Coffeemaker - and was a gift to my daughter who is away at college. She loves her Keurig and uses the carafe on the weekends with her roommates.

I bought this after reading the reviews even though we do not use Keurig brewers. We have had several different brands. This is the best for temperature maintenance. Also very easy to keep clean.
