This is a useful kitchen appliance however I’ve had it for less than 2 months and the coffee pot already cracked :(

If you love lukewarm coffee, this is the coffee maker for you! I suppose if I leave it on the burner ANOTHER 10 minutes or so it might heat up, guess I'll have to try that. Who doesn't love coffee taking 25 minutes to make? The k-cup side fills up my mug half-way, then I have to press it again to fill the rest of it up but at least it gets hot.

I received this 9-11-2024. On 12-15-2024 it stopped working all together. And it’s not from heavy use. I live alone and make a couple cups of tea a day. This is the second one I purchased. The first one said I needed to descale but the procedure didn’t work using the recommended descaling liquid. Very, very frustrating!

Had this for 6 months and had to return due to brewing a k cup too slow and eventually just stopped working altogether.

We’ve been enjoying our K-Duo since February 2025. Overall, what we like best is the relatively small footprint (11”W x 12.5”D x 13”H), fast brew times for both single-serve and carafe, and of course, the convenience of having two brewing options in one unit. I’m sure the x-hot and iced beverage options are nice but they’re not features we use and therefore, aren’t familiar with. The 72-ounce reservoir is reasonably easy to access and large enough for one full pot (carafe), or several single servings (K-cups) between refilling. The initial purchase of this model no longer includes an in-reservoir charcoal water filter assembly. When questioned about this, Keurig says that the coffee maker can be used without a filter but that you can add a filter kit, sold separately (read answers and responses from Keurig to online questions and reviews). Unfiltered water accelerates scale build-up (mineral deposits) which in turn reduces the life of the coffee maker’s components – especially the pump. We change our filter about every 3-6 months. Filtered water, whether pre-filtered or reservoir filtered, is important for function and longevity, and flavor. The optics here aren’t great for Keurig. They offer high-end, home-use coffee makers, but no longer include an important component that, until recently, used to be provided with all of their models. Keurig doesn’t make it clear that these filter assemblies are now an “option”, causing many owners to feel frustrated when they have to go back and buy a part that they assumed was included with their initial purchase. I like Keurig – I really do! My hope is that Keurig will reverse this course, before consumers begin to question the motives that drive Keurig’s future development, design, and marketing decisions. (End of Rant) The K-Duo has a strong brew feature for K-cup brewing which allows the coffee more time to infuse (steep), making it stronger, but this option is only available for K-cup brewing. Other reviewers have noted that a pot (carafe) of coffee from this model is weaker than comparable models. I use two paper filters to create my own "stronger brew” option – works great. PROS - Options for brewing single or multiple cups in one unit - Size options of 6/8/10/12 ounces and 6/8/10/12 cups - A compact footprint of 11”W x 12.5”D x 13”H - A reasonably large 72-ounce water reservoir - A strong brew option for K-cup brewing - Quick brew times for both carafe and K-cups - The pause and pour feature during carafe brewing CONS (some of these are admittedly nitpicking) - An in-reservoir water filter is no longer included - STRONG and X-HOT buttons are hard to see in dim light - The carafe doesn’t always seat properly on the hotplate - The carafe lid swings open if tipped past 90 degrees BOTTOM LINE This is a well-designed product with popular features. Keurig missed the mark a bit by not designing the carafe brewer so it dissipates water more evenly over the grounds, and they should have incorporated a strong brew option here as well. Keurig missed another mark, by a lot in my opinion, with their cost-cutting decision to no longer include the important in-reservoir water filter assembly consisting of a plastic tube and a couple of small charcoal filters. Would I buy this coffee maker again? yeah, I would.

Didn’t even last a month ended getting replacement through warranty without my coffee for who knows how long not impressed

Stopped working after 2 weeks,if it didn’t stop working is was nice having two machines in one,also freed up lots of counter space.

Stopped working after 1 month. Got a replacement less than a month ago and it stopped working again. Very disappointed.

Completely stopped working in less than 90 days of purchase.

Sat in a box til my house closed when I opened it the water reservoir was cracked. It useless

When brewing the coffee it would taste like plastic

Keurig K-Duo coffee maker is the eighth wonder of the world when it comes to an affordable and enjoyable coffee system. It measures ounces accurately on either side and produces a great cup of coffee. I recommend this product.

So far, we love it. Easy to use and gives you the option of having just one cup or make 12 cups.

The coffee maker worked great for about 20 cups. The add water light came on, making it impossible to brew coffee. Went through the troubleshooting in the manual with no luck. Called their Tech line and got NO help. Worst Customer Service I’ve experienced in my 50+ years. The “expert” was clearly reading from a script. Kept asking the same things. Never resolved the problem, so I sent an email. They told me to call the Tech line. Now I have a $139 paperweight.

Do not waste your time or money on this. I am on my 3rd machine in less than 6 months. My previous two just stopped working. Yes, the manufacturer will replace them, but I would prefer a refund and spend my money on a more reliable brand that delivers a product what lasts.
