The pods are done quickly. However, my wife thinks the strong mode is too strong but I like it. It is really a good all around coffee maker.

I've several coffee makers and have had this problem. The other functions of at the maker are great and I always use purified water for a better flavor.

This one makes hot coffee from the same grounds I used before. I'm very happy with this purchase
