The only drawback was it would not take the water, I kept getting a message to add water, even though it was up to the top. After doing an internet search, others had found they needed filtered water. I have a filter system in my house, but that did not matter. Once I added water from my filtered water pitcher it worked fine. Very happy overall.

Since our cure egg acts as a centerpiece for our kitchen it was nice to be able to get A color choice that complements or kitchen design. Since only my wife drinks coffee it's nice to be able to get a smaller cure egg but at the same time utilize it for larger groups with the kraft pot.
