We make a carafe once or twice a week instead of waiting for individual cups. The new one is more flexible in that we can dispense larger amounts of water and operate the unit with any container that will fit under the dispenser. We're happy with the decision instead of looking at the newer designs.

Despite having a temperature control, its hottest setting isn't hot enough. It sometimes only partially fills the cup. I replaced a cheaper version with this one, because the cheaper one was a piece of junk as well. big mistake. If anyone else made a coffee maker that used K cups, I would buy that instead.
