    My Keurig needed a filter stem, as the model I purchased did not come with one. It was on sale for a reasonable price.

    I live in Texas and the water is horrible. The filter is a great asset when utilizing tap water to make coffee. It also has a long duration and it's easy to install/change.

    I have used Keurig machines for years. I have always used filtered water from the fridge-so, on a whim I bought the filter. And the coffee and tea-do taste better!

    Although I have a fridge with filtered water I'm not going to stand and wait for the reservoir of 85oz to fill. The keurig filter does the job straight from my tap.
