Better than lessons!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me brag on this awesome product Keys and Kingdoms we were one of the lucky few who got to test this out and it’s one of our favorites. My daughter has shown interest in learning to play the piano but with all our other activities throughout the week it’s so hard to fit it in as well as the price, 30 minute lessons once a week are expensive! Keys and kingdoms solved our time and price problem! set up was super easy, we downloaded the app and got on our way to learning, after picking our character we were onto our first battle in this fantasy world. The graphics aren’t the greatest but the concept is a lot of fun. My daughter has learned to play Mary had a Little Lamb in her first 15 minutes of play and even at target on a random piano she got to show off her skills! One of my favorite things about this is I can take this set up anywhere as long as you have a hotspot to connect the keyboard to the app. I lost signal a couple of times which got kinda annoying needing to get out of the game and restart everything but I learned quickly to leave my phone alone. I’m excited that we can take it on the boat with us so when the kids need time out of the sun we can play it. At the pool, soccer practice or anywhere. This set up does not limit you to the 30 minutes a week, you’re free to learn anytime and anywhere! My daughter just turned 6 and while she can control the app and learn to play, some parts are a little complicated with trying to figure out the mystery keys while battling (it’ll make more sense when played) but I believe with some more practice she’ll really be able to learn to identify the notes. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is learning the piano or wants to. There’s so much advanced buttons and switches on the keyboard that I’m clueless about but I’m eager to learn myself.

Music Lessons Transformed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 5 year old got this package as a birthday gift and he has never wanted to ‘practice’ piano more than now. Learning how to play doesn’t feel like a chore to him it’s actually fun! I peeked in on him playing one time and he was cheering because he beat the ‘bad guys’ but he was actually playing notes and retaining the information. This is an amazing tool that teaches you how to play the piano without the traditional burnout of lessons. What an amazing concept for transforming the way music is taught! Bravo!

Very entertaining!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how they created an epic adventure game that not only teaches effective piano skills but also adapts to their emotional needs. Using algorithms, the game can adapt to whether a child is engaged, challenged or frustrated and tailor it accordingly. We have been looking for a way to get our kids excited about music! This does it! It keeps the kids engaged and excited to learn. There are multiple levels of play, teaching over 100+ songs that address each learner’s individual needs. The only negative is the expensive price point for the small keyboard and then to pay a monthly fee for the app, but this is a gift I would ask the grandparents for! My kids keep asking to play!

Highly Requested “Game” in Our House
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My kids LOVE Keys to the Kingdom! They don’t have any musical experience and have gained so much knowledge as they play the game. They even opt to play it instead of video games some days! It’s easy to set up separate profiles and keep track of their progress so we know what they need to work on. We have it connected to an iPad and it works great. I’m excited to see them continue their new found love for music this summer!

Excellent learning tool
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really fun and effective way for kids to get excited about learning piano. My 10 year old son has played it every day since we received this over a week ago. I like how it starts off easy for the beginner and builds according to the progress being made. The SRM (sight reduction method) is a very intriguing concept and changes the way we think about traditional teaching styles when it comes to playing instruments. The only drawback is that some of the characters are kind of creepy and may be a bit scary to the young kids trying it out. Other than that, I think it's a neat concept that is effective in building musical abilities in kids of all ages.

First step to learn how to work on little fingers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty interesting concept! This is actually teaching kids who doesnt interesting with music to actually want to learning music. Now days everything is more easy and grab the kids attention if it has some kind of games that can make the kids want to sit and play and I think Keys&Kingdoms knows that. They make this playing piano and game to help kids learning how to work on their finger skill. The first step can be boring for older kids but for 6 years old I think is the perfect ages. The program works great on my Windows and we installed in my normal laptop. Overall from the 5 kids that trying this, 3 now wants to go to the normal piano lesson which is actually a great steps.

An educational game I can get behind!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 10-year-old with prior piano experience and a 7-year-old with no piano experience and both kids LOVED this app. We used it on iPads with both our own, full-sized keyboard, and the smaller keyboard the company sells in the kit. Both ways were easy to use. The format of the game reminds me a lot of Prodigy. It's an interactive quest that increases in difficulty as the user progresses. IMO, the cost of the app is really affordable if you spring for the yearly pass, especially considering what we used to pay for lessons.

Quick Results For My Kids!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We LOVE this program! My 8 and 6 year old fight over who will get to play it first. They are so entertained with it and I am so surprised with the skills they have learned in such a short amount of time. I have tried to teach my 6 year old how to play piano with correct timing and have been unsuccessful for months. This game accomplished in a week what I had been trying to do for months! I also love the option to play it on the iPad. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Easy to learn and use piano
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keys and Kingdoms is a magical gaming experience while learning to play the piano. My boys 8 and 11 have been working as a team to beat the levels, the Teamwork and support has been amazing to watch. I love that I get a weekly email updating me on The progress completed. Set up of Keys and Kingdoms was very easy. There is a monthly fee for using the program.

Potential, but slow paced
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The learning is paced too slow for me, but apparently well enough for my easily frustrated little girl. She looks forward to learning on this. The keyboard is thicker than I expected, but that's my confusion. The game syncs between computers which is helpful. The android app doesn't exist yet, so that's a frustration for on the go. I'm not sure if it's really good at teaching more than one note per hand songs yet.

Perfect way to love piano lessons
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love this game! It is a great game and it teaches piano- a win win! My husband said he would have been a piano professional if he had this when he was younger. My 7-year olds have already memorized some basic songs after having it for a week. Very fun and smart!

Similar to Prodigy but for Piano.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We received this product through #Tryazon. I have 5 kids 3-11 & all of them enjoyed playing. Although the three oldest ones enjoy it the most. I feel like its kind of slow, but my kids are use to the format. They said its like Prodigy (a math/English) education game. You go places, meet opponents & then have to play the piano or do some theory & based on how well you do on the piano part is how well you play against opponent. One thing I don't like is it teaches them to use pointer finger on middle C instead of the thumb.

Better for older kids.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this through #Tryazon. The game itself was a little slow. We had kids in ages from 2 through 16. The younger kids (2-6) were a little scared and it was a bit hard for them to follow. The 11 year old absolutely loved it. I would recommend this for older kids. It keeps their interest a little more and it is easier for them to follow.

Piano game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great gift for my daughter, easy set up. Connects to computer and all that is required is to download the program. It has a game that teaches on how to use the piano keys. Starts off with single keys and as game progresses it gets challenging. My daughter loves it
