    This was the perfect solution for our needs. It fit in our casement window, easy to install, landlord friendly, reasonably priced, and the sleep feature is great during daytime to keep our pets cool & not gave it on all day. I love it!

    installation requires a good bit of handiness and power tools. instruction book requires a fair bit of knowledge that, unless you work regularly with windows, aren't terribly likely to be in the average person's wheelhouse. past my return window or this thing would be going back.

    Best buy delivered the product broken. Because it also weighs at *least* 70lbs-not the 30lbs it says in the specifications-I could not install it myself and had to wait until I had help I was a day past the return date when I realized this. It made my house smell like nail polish remover and they won't exchange it. I'll have to go through the manufacturer to see what can be done. While I blame none of the help line agents I talked to at all, the fact that upper management has hamstringed their workers into not being able to give decent customer service is shameful.
