Works great in car and was installed in a timely manner.

Had a sony in the back of my car. And it was pretty decent but when I put this new kicker back there it made the Sony look like it didn't even know what it was doing. And the customer service at Best Buy didn't try to rip me off with this either. It was a cheaper one then some of the more expensive ones and they pointed me to this one and told me it would be my best one to get and they were completely right. I love this thing.

These subs are great small enclosure requirments good powere handling 800 rms !!

Only negatives I would have to say is I would prefer the old style doul voice coal where you can wire it yourself instead of the switch and lf kicker wouls go back to Kevlar instead of the new polyurethane plastic stuff that can puncture easily.

Bought these for my oldest son after he blew his out. Good sound.

This speaker can take alot of abuse. I have had them in a sealed as well as ported enclosure and was satisfied with the sound quality either way. These speakers prove you dont have to break the bank to get mirror shaking bass.

Sound is good for the price...definitely worth the money

Need to put the ohms switch on outside of speaker box.

Went threw 2 before I got one that didn't have a factory defect. The defects were in the cone molding around out frame of the sub. The cone was off center and this caused the sub to rub against the frame. This isn't best buys fault clearly. I bought the two year protection plan which i highly recommend (protect your investments people), although in this case the problems were discovered within the 14 day return policy and geek squad was more than willing to swap them out or give me a full refund. So on to the sub. It's OK. For the price I think there maybe better quality speakers available. I'm running this single sub off an alpine 300w amp and at times it blows me away at other times it dissapoints. <Side note, it may have something to do with it being in a sealed box. I'm currently building a slightly larger ported box and the sub may like it better>. I listen to mostly rap and rock and like I said, some songs the bass is great and exactly what you would expect from a kicker. Other songs that have really low bass, sound terrible. As far as kicker claiming that this is a direct replacement for the CompVR line, well, that is just a lie. This sub can't hold a candle to what my old CompVR in the same set up could do. Price is great if your not expecting to shake the ground with lows. Only giving 2 stars because of kickers terrible quality control measures

Great sound for the money deep bass s2 subs sounds great on 1200 watt kicker

This subwoofer gives out a great amount of sound and bass... It compliments my factory radio system. I love it.

This was a solid upgrade to my car's sound and is a significant upgrade from the active subwoofer I had previously. It gives you great, booming bass when paired with a ported box.

I was in the market for a subwoofer just to add some bass back to my system in my work van. I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money but I wanted something to replace the 15" blown sub I had previously so I chose this one that was already mounted in a slanted truck box for less than $150.00 with tax so I installed it and tuned the amp now it's not a 15" but it's pretty good to be a single sub in a truck box that's in a conversion van.

This is a really good subwoofer excellent quality sound and a good price I'll buy again.
