Got these to replace my current car speakers. I didn't want to spend a lot of money but did want to get a good sounding speaker. These kickers do just that. Good deal for the price.

The 6.5"s coaxials produce loud & clear mid/high range octives on higher power receivers but sound much better with an external amp. If you want bass, get a sub. The noises (distortion) you hear from pushing to much low end to full-range speakers is not bass & sounds just as bad to anyone unlucky enough to be within earshot as it should to you. Proper setup and devices give you great sound and the rest of the world will be happier for it.

The Kicker 61/2 round speakers fit my 2003 GMC front doors perfectly and improved the overall sound of radio in an older model truck. Also they were priced well.
