I guess my existing sound system is loud enough that I barely notice any additional bass coming from this sub. Not as loud as I expected. I have it setup in my trunk may move it to under the passenger seat. I have 6 Alpine Speakers setup in my Dodge Challenger.

I bought 2 of these and they both were a returned/ display model off of their outlet section. It was in “Excellent condition” so it was supposed to have all the parts and manuals. I received one of them and it was missing all the wire connections and bass knobs and the other one they said was shipped but two weeks later I had to contact Fed Ex to see where it was and they told me the shipping label was made, but Best Buy never shipped it.

Really let down by this . A friend of mine sold me on it and I bought to put under my bucket seats in my truck. Had a really bad sound on the low notes . Really a let down for the price . Returned it and went with a different brand

This item includes the wiring needed to tap into the rear speaker channel, power, and ground. The only additional items you'll need are T-taps or vampire clips to connect to the speaker wires.
Since every vehicle has different speaker wire color codes, make sure to research which wires are positive and negative for your specific car.
For an extra \$70, you can upgrade to the 10” woofer, which moves more air and delivers deeper, more powerful bass.
Some users have reported that the unit can fail if not handled properly. Kicker strongly warns against plugging or unplugging the remote while the subwoofer is powered on. The remote is used to control the gain.

I’ve had the 8” Hideaway for years now, and couldn’t wait to upgrade to the 10”. I do realize it’s not a 12” full size sub and don’t expect it to be, but it does add the low frequencies that my factory setup does not. Combined with the Kicker KS 6x8 speakers this setup is a perfect addition to my F150. Couldn’t be more satisfied with this setup for the price and quality of products!

I blew the smaller one within 3 months. I thought getting a bigger subwoofer with my power would eliminate the issue, and within 12 months, it was also blown. So now I have two 10 pound paperweights. Just expected more. I do not listen to rap that has the constant bass booms, I listen to rock and metal but do like a bass boost in those tunes. This did not hold up. Shows that it is still getting power, but absolutely no sound is coming from the sub... It did sound good when it worked, but I guess this subwoofer doesn't enjoy Judas Priest with some extra bass.
