I purchased the Kicker HS10 as an upgrade from the 8" (HS8) model. I recently got a new car and found that the extra cabin room wasn't doing the HS8 any favors, so I decided to move up to the HS10. I'm glad I did. It sounds great and it's hard to beat at its price point. The cool thing about Kicker's Hideaway series is they've made it very easy to upgrade. It literally takes only 5 seconds because it is as simple as unplugging the cable, swapping the sub for the new one and connecting the cable. That's it! The low profile design of Kicker's Hideaway Series means can pretty much put it anywhere in your vehicle (under a seat, behind a seat, in the trunk, etc) and you won't have to sacrifice precious space for a huge subwoofer.

Your opinion of this subwoofer will greatly depend on your expectations. This will not shake your windows. It will not make you the cool guy cruising through your neighborhood shaking peoples homes. This is merely to add depth to your listening experience. I put this in a 2017 F150 XLT super crew. It adds a lot to my listening experience. Gives a lot fuller sound than not having a subwoofer. There are tons of YouTube videos and forum posts to show you how to hook this up and get it working. If you’re wanting to be seen and heard by other vehicles on the road, put in a legitimate amplifier and subwoofers. If you want to have a more immersive sound just for your own enjoyment, this works great.

Amazing added the bass I needed with out taking up my trunk space. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic. I liked it so much I bought another one 2 months later. In hindsight I probably should've just got a set of 10s in a box with a dedicated amp, but I never planned on wanting anything more than adding the one sub to my stock stereo and speakers. A year later I've got 2 kicker hideaways, 2 kicker ks 6x9s in the front doors, 2 kickers KS 6.5s in the rear doors, 2 kicker ks 2.75s in the dash, and 2 amps. Now I'm broke.

Easy to install when hooking up to the factory speaker wire. There are no RCA plugs, but kicker makes an adapter. As for the subwoofer itself, I put it my civic daily driver and provides ample amount of bass for my liking. I listen to a little bit of everything but mainly countr for reference. The bass control knob is perfect for finding the right amount of bass and gives the option to essentially turn it off. I have had two similar setups that were from less reputable brands than Kicker and this sub outperforms them, hands down.

Very smooth and powerful for its small size. Easy install, and has a strong enough case that I wouldn’t be afraid for groceries or something to get sat on it by accident. Considering purchasing another one just for a little more punch.

Puts out some solid bass for such a small box. Great sound, built in amp makes it easy to wire up. Easy to setup and solid box allows for many mounting options.

This replaced my 8” kicker. Bolted right into the same holes so was super easy swap. Sounds and looks great.

I originally got the 8" and had to return it and get the 10' luckily the wires are the same so it was plug and play! I love it! Remember it's an amp importantly not a speaker. Don't expect it to produce sound.

Fits and sounds amazing. Perfect for a little extra thump.

Added this to my ‘23 Ford Maverick and it made a huge difference (also replaced door speakers). Adds a nice little kick where it was lacking. Maybe not as heart stopping as a full travel 10” subwoofer but for what it is, it’s pretty amazing. Gives more bass than you think it could.

This 10 inch sub in a small package puts out big enough sound. I highly recommend this subwoofer if space is an issue. It worked well in a Jeep Gladiator w/ a soft top.

I really like the sound quality. It's very easy to use. I'm ready for an upgrade though for sure this is something that you would put under the seat or near the front I would not use this for an overall sound system just a starter but definitely great sound quality to 300 watts. Definitely can't complain.

I love this 10’ subwoofer. It was referred to me by Mike who works in the installation dept. ( Fredericksburg Va). I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator and this subwoofer fits perfectly behind my rear passenger seat. The sound is amazing.

I recently had one of these installed in my 2019 Ram 1500 and I must say it adds a significant amount of bass and there are many places you can put it underneath the rear seats and I am looking to purchase an additional one to get a little more kick, but overall it is a great addition to my factory stereo system.

This fit under the seat of my focus hatchback and provides plenty of extra bass to hit them low notes without limiting cargo space.

I went from factory audio to four new Kicker in-door speakers and this sub. I hardwired it directly into my front speaker wires, tuned it like the instructions stated, and it has been a lot more bass than I anticipated. I have them behind the backseat of a 2013 F150 Ecoboost four-door crewcab. If you are looking for decent bass thars easy to install and takes up minimal room, I recommend giving this a try.
