It sounds great and doesn't take a lot of space. I bought the MTX amp and the combo was worth the money.

Dropped this in the back of my '03 Jeep Wrangler pushed by DX1000W and it bumps. I bought this thinking I would try it before moving to a 12" that would be harder to fit without taking up more space and have not been disappointed. I can set car alarms off in open parking lots. Don't write this little guy off. My one and only complaint is that it's either loud or soft, it's hard to find a happy medium.

this all in one box is a good deal for the price. joined with the kicker dx 500 watt mono block it provides substantial bass that make my mirrors shake. the included bass knob with the mono block allows you to turn off all bass or shake the car. The pair is a plus.

I had one hooked up to a kicker 500 amp and it didn't sound good and almost completeley blew without me knowing. The bass was either too much or too little. Luckily I wanted to upgrade and they said yea this sub is almost completely blown. Replaced it and bought another one with a 1000w kicker amp and blew another one. So returned both subs and want to get bigger subs that can handle the power.
