Good, but left wanting a little more
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the 2nd one of these Kicker VSS Powerstage kits that I have purchased. The 1st one (for my f-150) was real loud and a tedious install (for a novice car/stereo guy). This last purchase (for my RAM1500) was a less tedious install, since I had done it before and had a better grasp of it, but there were still some amplifier mounting issues. My biggest disappointment is the lack of loudness of the bass. It just doesn't seem as loud as I remember in my other truck. All that being said, this is a great way to upgrade your stereo without being out $2.5K. And it all plugs in using existing wire and connections. I will check 'recommend to a friend,' but that friend better have some stereo install experience.
