Did not last long

The microphone did not last long, but at least he could hear through them, but not any more. Less than a year of use (maybe 9 months), but already not functioning. Obviously, they are not top of the line, but I still expected them to last longer. Very disappointing.

My 5 year old picked these out and they work great. The only downside my son said was that it doesn't cover your whole ear like other headphones do. He likes to be able to only hear the sound of what he is doing and these are not good for outside sounds because the sound will go through.
