Cute but not loud enough

They are very cute and my daughters like putting them on however the volume is SO soft (even when turned up ALL the way) that you can barely hear the movie. I understand it is to protect their ears, but if there is any background noise (etc. if you are in the car or on a plane) you can barely hear it.

I was disappointed that they didn't work for him. Definitely too small. I felt there should have been more info on the package about the size and age they would be useful for. The package said it was for youth. They are for much younger children than 8. I returned them.
