Great Steelbook!!! Beautiful artwork and if you like studio ghibli anime, this is the one to get in your collection.

This movie was great when I first watched it! I bought it in the steelbook edition and I am happy with the packaging!

I liked this when I was little but it is a lot more low key than the rest of the studio ghibli movies

Bought on a discount to add to my anime blu-ray collection. Great addition and a fun family movie!

No large spoilers. Being a fan of anime, and having found many cute black cat things associated with the show, I decided to buy the movie. It being a Ghibli, I assumed it would be an enjoyable show. I wasn't disappointed. Was it outstanding? No. It's a simple little tale of a young girl (13) going out to be on her own as all witches must, for 1 year when they are 13. She finds a new city to become the resident witch, but has no idea what her skill is. Instead of being a potion maker or fortune teller, her skill is more of helping people. She has a period of self-doubt and begins to lose her powers, but an emergency proves to her that the path she is on seems to be the right one. It has some lovely minor humor, is girl oriented, and just a nice little film, probably quite perfect for young girls to watch with some small lessons about even those who have found their path go through times of doubt. As an adult, you might find it a trifle slow, but still cute. Phil Hartman voices the cat Jiji and Kirsten Dunst is Kiki.

Good, but its been altered. Disney has made changes to it from its original dub.

Old dvd that replaces vhs copies. We will use accordingly and have enjoyed watching!

Love this anime!!! The steel book is a beautiful must have to you collection if you're a fan.

It's been a while since I saw this title. Watching it in Blu-ray made me totally apreciate yet again this lovely anime. Miyazaki and team did an esplendid job in giving us a visually striking, imaginative, coming-of-age story that, while simple in premise, provides complex emotions. The story revolves on a teenage witch in training (and her black cat) looking to solidify her place in the world. The characters are relatable and easy to like and the subject matter is easy for the whole family. I highly recommend this movie!

Very nice and good for children to learn how to reponsible the elders and helping others, too.

Kiki goes off with her cat Jiji (on a flying broom) to open a delivery service, with the help of a baker and her husband. It's a coming-of-age story that only Miyazaki can deliver. A great, quiet Ghibli movie, it's just as great as Miyazaki's other movies. For the first time on Blu-ray, the A/V quality is good. This is not an "action" movie so there is no heavy workout on your home theater, but clarity is the best descriptor of the audio and visual quality. There are extensive supplements, including being able to watch the movie with the storyboards.

This is hands down one of my favorite animated movies. It's always been one of those movies where if your having a bad day, you can just put it on because it's just an innocent movie that's just so likeable. I'm also glad there giving Hayo Miyazaki's movies all steelbooks and so I'm gonna collect all of those obviously (especially the Spirited Away one when it comes out). glad I finally bought this movie.

Another great hit from a legendary studio. Will check out others from them.

This movie has been around for a few years – and when compared to Spirited Away, or their newer ones, you can tell the drawings were more, if I may say this, primitive. Nevertheless, it has a great story, and it does look beautiful on a Blu-ray copy. I believe it is for younger teenagers, but the whole family can enjoy this movie, as well. The suspension of belief must be in full effect when you watch this movie.

This is a great movie. Not one of Ghibli’s best, but still great.

I have a soft spot for 2D animations, and studio Ghibli animations too. This is somewhat of a coming of age story for a little witch. But far from tropes of magical and spiritual creativity from other Ghibli movies. This story is simpler and more direct in characters relationships. Amazing colors, beautiful vistas, excellent voice acting, and ever epic all range soundtracks from Studio Ghibli.

Watched this with my girlfriend. Such a wholesome movie.
