Solid movie but the reason for the pick up was the steel book which is pretty cool.

Kill Bill vol 1 almost forces obtaining v 2. Both are legendary hyperboles.

An action thriller film by Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill draws influences from the spaghetti western and classic Asian cinemas, particularly the Japanese yakuza films and the Japanese samurai movies of the 1960's and 1970's. For those who are interested in Japanese animations, the animation part of this film was finished by no other but Production I.G. in Japan. I purchased this steelbook version on sale for $9.99 even I already own several other releases in DVD and bluray format, so don't hesitate to get it if anyone likes Kill Bill because this would add a nice collectible item on the shelf.

I am a lover of all things Japan, with more movies and anime in my collection than I will probably be able to watch in my lifetime! So, I really enjoyed Kill Bill (both volumes, although I prefer volume 1) and the many nods to Japanese popular culture that Tarantino has included in both films. This is just a fun and well done movie, with completely unrealistic yet enjoyable sword fights between Uma and...well, pretty much everybody she comes in contact with! As for the disc, we got a nice upgrade over the DVD with clear images and rich color. Well done!

Great movie! It’s Quentin Tarantino of course it’s great.

I can't say no to this movie for $5! I also got the other one. the direction is great, the set design is wonderful, the all star cast, the plot. Yes it's got some violence, some would even say gore but really it's plot driven fighting. Once you get the store you get why she does what she does,. It's like any other action star but just happens to be a female doing it. That's Tarantino for you, the story is told a little out of order but for good reason. Truly a masterpiece.
