in the form of a remastering job. Metallica did a recent remaster job on this album and Ride The Lightning. Both albums sound so much better You can definitely hear the bass guitar more and the drums just pop out more! Metallica kept the artwork intact. For 5.99, you cannot go wrong!

One of my favorite Metallica albums, the remastered version has a noticible bass level increase in level.... However I remember when this album included the covers (am I evil, blitzkreig) which are missing from this version... A bit dissipointing.. I guess they grew tired of paying the royalties.

The first Metallica CD has been remastered and now sounds as good as it probably ever will. Many of their fans still prefer this album, the beginning of what was then called Thrash Metal because of its high speed guitar runs. And they got even better in the albums which followed.

It was about time that they remastered this FREAKING AWESOME album. This is rock not the "ROCK MUSIC" here DC 101 wants you to believe that is rock. 21 pilots, imagine dragons and etc, THAT IS NOT ROCK DUDE. THIS IS ROCK! Go out and purchase this master piece.

I already owned this in its original cd form..with Am I Evil and Blitzkrieg, but solely bought this version for the remaster. It wasn't mind-blowingly different, but it's still awesome. And for $5, it's a bargain! If you don't own this yet...why not?

Wasn't specifically looking for this, but found it in the bargain bin - by checkout - for $6. Talk about hidden gems. Everything Metallica would become in the years and albums to follow is present here. Suffers from too many songs following the same formula, but, considering all of the songs are great, it's hard to complain. And Cliff Burton. I think that's all that need be said. lol

after 20 years of challenging and losing to Napster in the 9th district federal court this band has had an awakening. through reconciliation, they have made their skeptics and fans whole again with this release.

Their first commercial release and still holds up after all these years. Wish it'd included the covers of Am I Evil and Blitzkrieg like the copy I've had for decades, but couldn't pass up a remastered disk for the price.

One of my lesser favorite Metallica albums, but this is an absolute head banger. It's fast and relentless and makes no apologies, Kill 'em All is a message to the feminization of metal that began taking place in the early 80's and thank James for it's creation as it paved the way and inspired many heavy metal greats.

This album is essential for any real thrash collection. Punches you in the gut rigjt from the start and doesn't let up until the end, leaving you bruised and sore but wanting more.

Bought this in store for $5, and it sounds great. I noticed that it shows produced by "blackened" instead of "electra" records, but I've played it on both car stereo and the home stereo and it sounds great.

This is the remastered Kill 'em All from 2016; everyone has been saying that it sounds better than the original release in 1983, so I bought this one. I'd say it does sound brighter. Favorite tracks are The Four Horsemen, Whiplash, Seek & Destroy and Metal Militia. While Lars' drumming nowadays is not considered very innovative, his parts on this record are fairly powerful for the early '80s.

Kill 'Em All is an all time classic album, Metallica's best in my opinion. This remastered version ups the quality of the sound. The bass is more present and makes the album that much better.

Always loved this album and never had a CD copy of it. Was at BB the other day and this little gem happened to be in one of those $5.99 buckets and I just had to buy it.
