    This is based on the true story of journalist Gary Webb, which takes place in the mid-1990s. Filled with great casts, including Jeremy Renner and Ray Liotta, this is a must watch! Very under-rated film!

    This is, in my opinion, a very average movie about a journalist's purported expose of a purportedly sinister plot both involving the Contra Costas and some nefarious attempt on the part of the CIA to expose the black LA population to Crack Cocaine. The story is dubious and the cinematic depiction thereof is pedestrian.

    If you enjoy movies that involve a political theme, and the politics that go along with it, you will like this one. A little slow on action, but deep enough to keep your attention.
