Better than Criterion

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.To be brutally honest, this is the last Kubrick title I ever expected to get a 4k. Even though it's better than Fear and Desire, it's less of a note-worthy footnote in his filmography being his second feature rather than first. But I'm happy to report this is a heck of a release. This new 4k transfer was handled with so much more care than the criterion extra on The Killing. And it's jam-packed with new extras that were a lot of fun to see! Recommended for Kubrick purists and film noir fanatics, no question.
