Great story and a revolutionary giant in the world of filmmaking when it comes to special effects. There is reason Kong is King and it all starts here.

King Kong is one of those great classic old films that will always have a lot of charm. Sure, it's kitschy and corny and the acting can be wooden, but it holds a special place in one's heart. the best part about it is the great Willis O'Brien special effects. Remarkable at the time, they still hold up.

Classic!!!! Awesome!!! Spectacular film! It still an great film!!!!!!!! Recommended 100 percent.

I love this movie! The digibook format is really fantastic. It also has a bunch of great special features that give some insight into the film.

After 85 years, still one of our favorites. Like seeing it for the first time in Blu-ray, picture quality and sound were amazing.

Despite being made more than 80 years ago, this original still thrills. It's exciting, fun and having it on Blu-ray is a joy.

A great old classic. of course can't stand up to modern special effects, but has a special charm. Importantly, the blu-ray copy does have significant improvements of the old grainy worn version older folks had to put up with in the past.

The original remains great 85 ears after its release. So much better than the 2005 remake, too. Just a wonderful movie.

The original classic restored with previously banned footage. Looks and sounds great for it's age. Lots of extras too.
