Not your modern day Kong! Ah yes... the days of practical effects, no CGI, and sheer goodness! Fun film, although younger people nowadays will probably prefer the newer films over this, and the original version. But would definitely recommend this if you're a fan of monster movies with practical effects

As a child of the 70's I have loved this movie since it hit the theater way back when (I was 5 years old back in 1976). Finally watching in HD is a dream come true for the me...

King Kong (1976) has been a bit of a guilty pleasure. Pretty cool experience watching the Television version 2night event. Brought me back to my youth. A very different way BIG adventure movies were made pre-CGI. Good special features. Recommend as a BLU-Ray item. Fits in nicely with my SHOUT FACTORY COLLECTION.

I really think this is the best king kong has the twin towers and release during the bicentennial was awesome. The extended version was a bonus!!

Use to love bestbuy I would go there and spend money on what ever movies I could find at the time and it was regular now I'm turning to amazon alot more still do bestbuy but not as often

The fact that the tv cut is included here is a revelation. This is a Kong you probably haven’t seen, at least in a while. It’s just a treat. I mean, Kong vs Snake. What more do you want?

I can't wait to see this I can't believe best buy had a new scream factor collectors edition in store i hope this continues and they get more of the sream factory titles in store

Excellent blu ray transfer of the semi classics 70s remake. The film has never looked or sounded so good! Loade with extras to keep you busy for the full night! Great fun!!!!

Love King Kong, been a fan even since the black and white movies. Classic movies and new ones are just as good if not better but classic is always the best.

if you were around in the seventies like i was , comes heavily recommended. i love this this movie, i saw it hen i was 15 years old back in 1976. never will forget it.

So glad this came out on Blu-ray. I loved this movie as a kid. I still enjoy it to this day. Not a fan of the Television cut but a great addition for movie fans.

An excellent remake of the original, using just enough modern hi-tech special effects to bring the flick up to date without overdoing it. Strongly recommend !

Classic creature feature. Def a must have for King Kong fans as well as anyone who likes action/adventure. This movie and release gets a high recommendation.

Good story line that some what follows the original movie. Jessica Lange makes her debut in this movie and was compared to Fay Ray from the original movie.

Great classic movie King Kong 1976 is the best movie of all times in my opinion and for 5.00 dollars can’t go wrong!

Finally, we get the HD treatment for this fun film from 1976! It is long overdue and to have the TV version included just makes the purchase sweeter!

I packed it I’m sure it’s good I bought it but if it’s messed up then I guess I just wasted 25 dollars

Our experience was very easy and pleasant. Took quit awhile as it usually does when you trade in your phone. Always trade ours at Best Buy.
