A great sitcom from the late 90's to early 2000's starring Kevin James. Very fun and funny series that will make you want to binge watch an entire season in one sitting.

This is one of those shows that isn't going to go down into the hallows of greatest sitcoms ever, or being a first choice to buy a DVD set of, but its instead one of those shows that when its on TV in widespread syndication, you sit down for 30 minutes and have a good laugh. This was Kevin James' breakthrough and he is a charming, funny lead who isn't that bad of a actor (Quite good actually and better actor than Seinfeld or Ray Romano will ever be) and has some great chemistry with Leah Remini as his wife and Jerry Stiller as his father in law. With some funny writing, standard sitcom tropes and a good cast, its actually one of the better shows to actually own on DVD, just not a great as Community but then again, it doesn't have to be. All the DVD's contain some good PQ with most of the seasons shot in 1.33 full frame faithfully replicating their broadcast quality with season 9 being in 1.78 and also being faithful to the original series. The audio is your standard 2.0 stereo track and does its job. And the extras are almost non existant with season one and two only containing major extras. Season one contains a commentary over the pilot with Kevin James and a producer, a featurette, a compilation of the funniest scenes of season 1 and two bonus episodes from season 2 and 3 which are quite redundant. Season 2 contains a commentary over one episode and a mediocre featurette. Seasons 3-9 only contain previews. The packaging is also very flimsy and lousy with a plastic hub holding all 27 discs, so be careful. Other than that, this is a good value, filled with hours of laughs, decent PQ and AQ and some okay extras over the first two seasons but don't expect anything like Seinfeld's quality sets.

I love this show when it was on and I still watch it in reruns. I'm glad to have gotten this complete series set at a great price!

One of the best television shows of all time!!! Kevin James is hilarious in this drop dead funny comedy....

It had a great run of nine seasons. I was bummed the last season was short. Totally worth the money.

Very good deal on a great show. It's a classic....

This set was on sale for $24.99 when I purchased it!! The price was amazing and the product well worth what it is valued at!! This includes the ENTIRE King Of Queens collection, Seasons 1-9! Be sure to be careful with the discs as they are not protected very well. KEEP THE CARDBOARD INSERTS THAT CAME WITH THE BOX SET!!!! There are two "spindles" of discs included in Seasons 1-9. Great product! Highly recommended for those who like comedy TV shows, Everybody Loves Raymond, Seinfeld, etc.

Having worked at UPS for many years, enjoying Doug working at "IPS" always hits home for me (although the real UPS is nothing at all like IPS) and brings back memories. At roughly a price of $4/season, this compilation is a no-brainer!!! The acting is outstanding for each unique character in this show. I highly recommend this down-to-earth comedy!

This is a great show I never get tired of watching! Kevin James and Leah Remini play off each other with great comic timing in a way that makes them convincing as a married couple dealing humorously with the situations of middle class life. Jerry Stiller is great as Arthur, and the rest of the supporting characters nicely fill out the show, adding more quirks and ridiculous situations into the mix. Overall, the quality of the set itself is good. The only complaint I have with it is that all the discs are in two stacks, which makes it a bit difficult to quickly get out the one you want and also to keep them in order.

This show is just cute and fun to watch. Kevin James and Leah have a natural chemistry of a husband and wife who have been married a while but love each other. Most of the plots deal with problems that married couples deal with. Like Doug not always loving his job or Carrie trying to find the right job for her. Arthur, Carrie's dad is hilarious and funny but also goes to show that family is family. Although annoying at times adds love and appreciation for carrying for a family member whose lost a spouse. Love the show and just good for a laugh.

I really like this series. So funny. Only issue is when your watching you will see a repeat episode or 2. I think there is an episode out of order but if you watch the extras, Kevin James mentions how when the show aired they had to fill the week with a re run. Which is odd it wasn't edited out instead they just placed it into the shows in air time order. Other than that it's well worth having it.

I love this show! I've seen every episode, and watching them again makes me laugh as if I'd never seen them before. The only gripe I have is with the packaging. They could've given each season an individual case, instead they used to spindles, which makes them fall out when opening either side of the case.

My only criticism is the lack of special features.

Yes you can watch this show almost any night on tv. But often you can only see the same episodes over and over again. Have you ever wanted to see a series in its entirety? I have. So I like owning the entire series. Plus I have always been a fan of Jerry Stiller. His approach to comedy is as original as any. Kevin James and crew have not been on tv all this time for nothing. This box set is worth buying and I recommend it.

The discs do touch each other in the case (stacked on top of each other over a ring to hold the discs). If you are not okay with discs touching each other, do not buy it. Does become difficult to keep the discs organized. We don't regret buying it and may collect the truck DVD set someday (felt it was overpriced). We haven't experienced skipping so far! We watch random episodes for this reason (the discs are stacked upon each other) instead of watching them in chronological order. We will watch it over and over again! We love this series! We love this set! Remember, the final season has one less disc than the rest. I thought there was a disc missing!

I just couldn't pass up on the great deal I got on this. The whole run of the show in compact packing. My copy showed up undamaged (that alone is a big plus with on-line DVD orders). The packing is of the "stacked" variety but all DVD discs have inner hub rings to keep them spaced apart and I don't understand why so many complain about discs being packed this way. I will agree, you have to rotate the discs up the spindle as you view them and that does suck but the tradeoff is acceptable to me. It's actually two spindles as the box opens in the middle, so that does help with rotating the discs.

Great price and quick and easy shopping! I got an email promoting Black Friday deals and noticed the King of Queens series. The price was right so I decided to get it - I didn't even have to wait until Black Friday to get that price. I ordered it online and was able to pick it up at my local store the same day. Great experience! Can't wait until next year's sales.

I was very happy to get this complete series set for such an excellent price. The King of Queens was a very funny and well written situation comedy. All of the cast did a great job and meshed with each other in a very believable way. I don't know why it never won any Emmys, it was as good as any Emmy winning sitcom ever was.

This king of queens complete series package with extras, is a must have for any fan of the show. Being able to see every season from start to finish makes this deal great. Watching re-runs on tv makes you wanna keep watching the tv series, but actually having the completed series makes for a better experience. This is fun for all the family to enjoy.
