Its definitely gets my room much cooler but theres not a way to keep the air on constantly so it ki da works on its own time. We did not drill it into our window like it wanted but it really didnt need to for our style of window which was nice so it can be installed with no damage and we didnt have to take the screen out so use instructions sparingly if u want to keep your home from unnecessary damage. It is loud but it doesnt bother us personally. It cant really be elevated unfortunately due to how the drip pans work but if u keep the door closed it eventually gets cooler on top

Does not cool much before auto shut off. I have it set to 61 degrees but the thermometer in my room always reads 69. The cold air will blow for a minute or two and then shut off. It keeps my room cool, but not as cold as it says it can. I can’t even return it because the return window was so short.
