I bought it as a second drive for my Thinkpad laptop. So far it performs well. It's quiet, fast and seems to be reliable albeit the cheap price. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. I can’t think of any negative except that its 120GB capacity maybe limiting to some people.

Sold Hard Drive. Very Fast. Must recommend for upgrades. Upgraded my wife's laptop from 1TB HDD 5400 rpm to this SSD. Windows 10 boots in under 7 sec. Can I say more?

Turn out to be a very simple installation and the drive is very fast I find this to be a great value. I needed an external drive that had low voltage requirements to be used on a tablet with a USB to SATA adapter.

I bought this SATA drive with the intent of using it as a boot drive and for mass storage, replacing the current microSD card, in a Raspberry Pi 3 B+. That is still the intent, assuming I can find a suitable, low cost SATA-to-USB adapter that will allow me to power the SATA drive from the Raspberry Pi USB port(s). In the meantime, I've been testing it as an external storage device with my Windows 10 notebook (via a USB adapter) and it works well. It was a real "steal" - it was purchased while on sale due to closeout, plus I was able to get an even better price using a Bestbuy coupon.

Purchased several of these 120GB units and many of the larger 480GB ones. Never had an issue out of the 8-10 we have purchased so far. Will be buying more as SSD makes a HUGE impact on speeds of both laptops and desktops. For desktop you may need to purchase a bracket so this laptop size drive fits in the larger desktop tray. Find a good program that will clone your existing drive (and resize it properly) and it should be a simple plug and play install after a successful clone.

Got a great deal on this Kingston 120 GB SSD I used to upgrade my spinning eSATA hard drive on my trusty ThinkPad X220. Works great! I installed Ubuntu 18.10 LTS on the SSD and I get fast booting and faster seek performance than before. I recommend this drive if you need to do an upgrade or just replace a HD for whatever reason.

Kingston may not be the most popular, or the highest quality, but it was the best price per GB, and I'd trust these to do the job for many years, and about as quickly as any other.

Not much to say about a ssd. Works great and made my laptop so much faster. Install was easy and set up was easy. Would defiantly buy again.

Excellent product. Bought for a new gaming rig and use to boot up OS. Fast is an understatement. And the price is right. Get one!!!

My son was building a gaming PC and this came recommended for the configuration he wanted. It's a perfect add to the finished product and working perfectly.

My windows 8.1 and some basic app use only 60GB. This 120GB is just enough to speed up my whole PC. I reinstalled OS on this SSD and set my original hard drive for data. This upgrade did much more than adding more memory. I am very happy with this result.

Awesome price, easy to install but didn’t come with a SATA cable or screws for placement . Wish I would have known that. Had to go back to the store and get that. Good size just for Windows.

Great SSD. Bought as an emergency replacement for a failed drive. Been in use 24/7 since purchase, and no problems. Speeds are slightly slower than older Evo model it replaced.

The solid state drive working fine so far on a Linux media server on the root partition, very fast operation and optimal performing during long hours of playing media content.
