    This is a much more durable flash drive than the many that are plastic. This one seems to be holding up well to a lot of use and insertion and removal. Write speeds are pretty quick and the drive hasn't had any issues or hiccups. Good drive and good build.

    i needed a few more flash drives for my rather new 2 different software to be able to load different lessons on and be able to work on my laptop . I like the size of it -8GB and color.

    Ordered this drive because I had a $5 reward to use. It was cheap and I like smaller capacity drives such as these since I am a computer tech and have a lot of USB flash drives with Operating Systems on them and when the lowest capacity I can get is 16 or 32gb for a USB 3.0 flash drive it feels kinda bad since it is so much wasted space. Not with this drive. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out almost the whole thing is metal and the only plastic on this thing is inside the USB connector (like all USB connectors) and the purple piece on the back. Since it is metal I assume it acts as a heat sink which may be a drawback to some as it does get warmer than almost any other flash drive I have had in the past. I can say it is faster the USB 2.0 after comparing the boot times from this vs a PNY 16GB USB 2.0. I cannot say how much faster since I haven't done any extensive tests but they aren't lying about the USB 3.0 spec. I think this is a great value and I will continue to buy until the warehouse runs out.
