Bought this for a different laptop... wouldn't fit. Too bad, so sad... so I installed it in a different laptop and the thing's boot time went from minutes to SECONDS!!!! Used the Apricorn cloning tool and replacement was a snap. I suspect my battery will last much longer as well since the SSD doesn't consume nearly as much battery. Just what the doctor ordered to refurbish my old... really old... laptop.

I bought this SSD to speed up the performance of my desktop PC. I haven't been disappointed. The setup and transfer of data from my old system drive to the HyperX 3K 120 GB was quick and simple. My PC now boots up into Windows 7 in less than 10 seconds! That's at least twice as fast as the Hybrid drive the HyperX SSD replaced, and the Hybrid drive was already at least 3 times faster than the standard hard drive I had before. The drive is well made and comes with a nice complement of accessories like a portable USB enclosure (if you want to use it as an external drive), cloning software, a 2.5" to 3.5" mounting adapter, cables and a handy multi-bit screwdriver.

this 120 GB drive holds up at 240GB drive performances. Complete WOW! no issues yet. Clone CD and included brackets of the kit are great.

This SSD is fast and comes with all the accessories needed to install it or use it as a portable drive.

I was looking for a SSD and was about to buy a more expensive one until I saw this. At first I thought maybe it is not as fast as what I was looking for but after testing it using three different benchmarks it proved me wrong. I am very please with the performance.

Easy physical installation, and software loading (disk copy). 2.5 to 3.5 in. plate and SATA cable, plus install disk included in package. Should include power adapter, which is not available from most suppliers.

Overall, once I correctly installed the SSD, I cannot live without it! It makes loading my operating system and loading applications and games a breeze. I never have to wait for anything!!! If you need performance and speed, I recommend you get this upgrade for your computer.

In the past I have always purchased bare bones drives. This drive came with copy software (which was limited as mentioned in con section), even a screwdriver to install. This drive is definitely faster then the previous SSD which it replaced.

This was a great purchase. I've noticed a huge increase in my PC speed. The external case and screw driver was a great add-on. I'm very pleased.

Great to download the OS and a few games or programs for fast loading. Comes with everything you need plus a nice pen tool looking thing... I like that.

I know I sound like I work for Kingston, I don't. This kit was a homerun for me. Easy to install, affordable, complete. I am a typical "know enough to be dangerous" computer user and this drive completely restored my Dell Latitude D620. Boot up is all but instant now, not the 3-4 minutes with the OEM drive. By only spending under $150.00, I have now lengthened the life of this laptop, giving me time to save up for a Surface PRO, like my wife's.

Good SSD and not too over priced. Fastest write speed I could find and at the top of read speeds too. Overall a great SSD!

I installed this in a older dell optiplex 360 desktop to breath new life into it., and yes it sure did speed it up. After cloning the drive i went to move it to its place in the system and when removing the sata data cable the plastic "L" piece was stuck in the cable, completely broken off and leaving the pins bare. Luckily i was able to push the cable back onto the pins and i'm using the drive. I'm not very happy about the poor quality of the connectors. I read that Kingston won't cover the warranty if the plastic breaks. Maybe i should not order any more Kingston drives but buy Crucial drives instead. I would recommend it if it was not for the poor design. The rate i gave it was just for the performance.

Very impressed with this device. The package was well put together and came with an external drive kit, Kingston screwdriver, all needed cables and screws, 2.5>3.5 bay adaptor, and Acronis software. Great drive with everything a person could need.
