Excellent performance, true value, great sexy look

This flash drive is great. I also own the 16GB version of this drive and have mistakenly have washed it multiple times and it still works great.

a small and easy to use memory :) by the way: shipping was too fast and on time.

As the saying goes, "it is what it is:" 32 gig flash drive that works on usb 1.1 or 2.0 - obviously more quickly on 2.0. My laptop is almost 8 years old and with the addition of the usb 2.0 PCMCIA card this little drive screams. I was able to back up my 25 gig music library prior to reformatting the HD and reinstalled with no issues whatsoever. Half the price of the other drives - although I believe this is only a promotional offer so act quickly.

32 Gig is awesome - it's hard to believe there is so much storage room in such a small device. I like the way the USB plug is protected in your pocket, but no loose cap to fall off and get lost. My only quibble is the software pre-installed - I have no use for it, and I immediately reformatted the drive to NTFS for better performance. If you don't plan on using this drive for viewing pictures or videos on a TV or such, NTFS is the way to go. Otherwise, use FAT16.

I was amazed by this flash drive. As for other reviews, yes it does come with software, but all you gotta do is just double click the uninstall app and its gone. the total actual usable capacity is 29.0 gigs, which is okay. My old computer which i was transferring stuff from, had a steady 4.16 MB/s transfer rate, but the ram and processor on that computer was 2 gigs for both. My new computer, which is where i was transferring the stuff to, was 3.1 GHz processor, and 8 gigs of ram. It moved at 16 MB/s. Overall, it took an hour and a half to transfer 65 gigs of data. Physically, the flash drive is excellent, with a chromey like piece covering the usb thing, and is about the size of your middle finger from the middle knuckle to the tip. I wholeheartedly recommend you get this flash drive. It works perfectly. The package it came in was a standard bubble wrap envelope. It took so slow to transfer the data mainly because they were HUGE files. If your transferring photos it will go a hell of a lot quicker, but i was transfer many folders with videos inside them, so it took a while. if your transferring stuff like photos and mp3s, you will have better speeds.

1st just reformat the flash drive, then it's not as slow any more. Good data capacity and reliable. Just don't walk on it, drive over it since it can be crushed. Don't leave it in your pockets when it's laundry time as it isn't Wash/ water Proof. You can get a real deal / bargain knowing someone that works for Best Buy. I picked up 2 for $32 or $16 each. With SSD's dropping in price so will flash drives as next year the 32GB will cost less than $15 and look towards those 128GB to be around $60.

I use it for backup storage, has enough capacity and works well. The price was exceptionally good for the amount of storage available.

No indicator light to identify when it is being used. This is an oversight by Kingston. The metal holder is not suitable for key rings as the opening is just too small - can only use fishing line or similar material.

What can I say, it's a lot of space at a good price point. Definitely buy!

I love this travel drive. It's perfect for my needs and large enough to hold all my digital photos as a back up. My only negative comment is that it doesn't come with anything to use as a little strap or anything. I had a cell phone charm thing that I used and that has worked out very well. Great value ($33 on sale) when I purchased it.

I am a teacher and I currently have 4 of these drives to use for backups of different types of files. I only use this brand and haven't been disappointed yet. Especially when BBY has them on sale!

The device is small, attractive, well engineered and provides ample storage, portabilty and convenience.

After buying a "cheaper" Hong Kong knock-off that didn't work, I bought the Kingston DataTraveler 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive from Best Buy. Good price, reasonable delivery time, works great. Not as fast as I would like, but acceptable for what I use it for.
