The thermometer takes a 1 sec reading. I even took my 3 yr old's temp while she was sleeping! The downloaded app is a useful perk. When bluetooth is enabled, thermometer readings go to your smartphone. In the app, you are able to set up multiple profiles to hold history; i.e. different children. Also, you can select sickness symptoms to receive tips on how to feel better. Love this and worth the $32. Obviously this does not replace physicians or an ER visit, but this is good for worried parents that would love some immediate advice.

As a future mommy of 3, I know how hard it can be to have multiple sick kids in the household (including me) I was so happy to learn about the Kinsa smart digital thermometer and it’s free app to easily track everyone’s temperature at once. I’m an old school mom and have always relied on a rectal thermometer to take my kids temperature. I’ve always felt it gives you the most accurate reading. I was so happy to know that I was able to use the Kinsa thermometer rectally, orally and in the underarm. I decided to test both rectal and underarm readings and was impressed with the accuracy as there was only a -0.1 F difference between the two. My kids were also happy to take their temperature a different way! The app was also a great way to engage my kids while waiting for the reading. They were able to see their name on the screen and see bubbles pop while they waited. Their favorite part was playing doctor and listing all of their current symptoms and selecting them on the phone. The app was extremely easy to use and like I mentioned, even my kids were able to use it. My favorite part was able to create a unique profile for my girls and myself. Being that I’m currently pregnant, I’ve been extremely forgetful lately. The app made it easy for me to reference everyone’s past readings and also note any medications that were taken. I was extremely impressed by the additional resources the app provided, like common symptoms and how to treat common illnesses at home. I really enjoy using the thermometer for my kids and myself. Great ear thermometer. Accurate, fast, easy to read, and easy to use.

I bought this in preparation for my new baby. Setup was very easy and it instantly connected to the Kinsa app. I used it on myself and my other children and it accurately tells your temperature within a second. Easy to clean as well. Love it!

Works perfect, easy to use and set up. Tried many others but none work as well as this one. I recommend this product to all parents. Great price as well.

after changing out the batteries, this thermometer is amazing! My son hates getting his temp checked and this made it so easy! gets accurate temps in literally one second! and if u use it with the app you can set up profiles for your family members and make notes about their symptoms to make it easier if you have to visit the doctor instead of trying to remember every little detail. also is has huge numbers and a led screen so u can check temps in the middle of the night with out having to disturb your sleeping fussy little one.

We purchased this to replace a temporal thermometer because it seemed inaccurate. That is not the case with this one. It's fast, accurate and easy to use. The accompanying iPhone app is useful as it keeps track of temperature readings for your entire family, but it also keeps track of medications and other symptoms related to fever. I would recommend this for anybody looking for a reliable thermometer.

Picked this up for a baby gift and got a price match. :-) Turned right around and decided to get one for myself/household. Used it at home on everyone. REALLY nice! Works great on large or small people (husband to 4 year old grandson). Already told my son I had gotten it as an additional gift for their couples baby shower. He and wife were excited since they didn't think to pick it out for their registry!

It is great to be able to track multiple family members on the app. The readings are fast enough that even our 1 yo doesn't even mind

I purchased this to be used with my newborn and liked the idea that temperatures could be tracked. Unfortunately; the reading fluctuation was +/- 3 degrees F which was not acceptable. Ended up taking my newborn to urgent car due to multiple readings of over 100.4F over two hours. When we arrive, his temperature was 98F.

Works easily with my iPhone and integrates easily with Apple health. Says it takes 1 second to take a temperature in the specs, but it’s really just about instant. You do have to have their app to capture the reading, but setup was straightforward.

It takes the temperature fast which is great when you have a screaming baby fidgeting. I also think the app is really cool, it gives you tips and lets you know when you should take your baby to the ER. I think the price is worth it.

Accurate readings that you can save on the app to keep track of your temperature changes. Must have for parents: you can take temperatures easily in the dark without waking sick sleeping children. Would recommend this product.

HAVE USED OTHER ONES IN THE PAST AND FOUND THAT THIS ONE WAS VERY EASY TOUSE

Bought this to make taking temps from my two little ones much easier. And they like it. It does connect to a app via Bluetooth so you can keep records of there progress if they have a fever which is cool if you need to monitor it.

Our other digital thermometer died and this is the replacement. Very simple to use, accurate, and has a nice readout. App options aren't necessary, but nice to have when keeping track of fever for several kids.

I really like how this thermometer keeps track of previous temperature recordings. Very handy for families that have sick children and need to monitor temperature closely. This thermometer is also accurate. Good product

I purchased this thermometer and instantly had to use it. FLU. The little one hates getting his temperature taken but with this thermometer he hardly noticed even when sleeping. I like the helpful app too.
