The graphics are absolutely stunning, everything looks like it was really made out of clay. Its kind of a shame that it is pretty much played 100% on the gamepad, takes away some of the detail. The game is fun though, its a decent length for its lower price, and has a lot of collectibles and challenge stages to keep you playing after you beat the game.

I was a huge Kirby Air Ride fan, and this is definitely something much different. It's a pretty creative puzzle-platformer where you can work together with a friend to help Kirby get through each level. I absolutely love the art style, and that alone is a huge reason to get the game. It's adorable and not super challenging, but still pretty fun.

This game makes great use of the WiiU Gamepad, and the weaving and looping throughout the game makes this a fun rather than tedious interaction. As with games of this nature, keeping it handheld works, though it does look good on the big screen. Overall, the Amiibo features are a little lacking, but they're just bonus buffs, so it's not entirely necessary. Fun game. Reminiscent of old platform games with the touch screen twist thrown in.

Great game with beautiful graphics, the only problem is that it is nearly impossible to play using your tv. Because it is completely touch controlled using the Wii U gamepad, there is no way to play it without looking down at the gamepad screen the entire time. The graphics are screaming to be played on an HD TV but it just can't be done.

So, this Nintendo idea of making some of these "budget" games and releasing at $39.99 is brilliant. Why? #1) These games aren't "budget" on anything except price. Kirby is exceptional, and one of the best uses of the gamepad (outside of off-tv more) #2) At the lower price, it's easier to justify getting the download version so that you can play anytime 3) God, is this game pretty. Really hope we see this style used again

Don't let the cute Kirby claymation fool you as this game is quite challenging. That being said, it is a ton of fun. I was surprised at how in depth the gameplay is and there are lots of little secrets and hidden passages that will make you scratch your head. I never played Canvas Curse so I can't compare it to that game. All I know is that I was surprised at how much I loved this game. Its also gorgeous by the way.

I have always liked Kirby games, but they seem to get easier and easier. This one has a good pace and is fun, but there are a few flaws. The worlds are gorgeous and unique, but there is one problem. You have to use the game pad for the controls so you can't even look at your HDTV to enjoy the visuals. However, it is a lot of fun.

This game is very simple to pick up and play. its very entertaining and yet has a bit of challenge when it come to collecting everything. Its also a blast to play with friends. you can play with up to 5 people. the person with the gamepad controls kirby and each other player controls a spear toting waddle dee. the waddle dees can pick kirby up and throw him as well as help reach places that might be difficult for kirby.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is a successor to the DS title Kirby Canvas Curse where Kirby is in a ball form and you guide him along by drawing lines that he rolls along. The concept is simple enough and provides a change of pace from typical Kirby games. The graphics are colorful and cute and the soundtrack is amazing. My only gripe is that the game is a tad bit on the short side, even for a Kirby game.

Fun game, fairly simple and straight forward. Very pretty to look at but only if you're watching someone else play it on the tv or you're second player in multi-player. Unfortunate that such a pretty game is confined to the small screen of the Gamepad.

This game is quite fun. It expands upon the DS original "Canvas Curse". The clay-mation look is beautiful and all the detail and little touches like fingerprints in the clay are very Nintendo. I've only played co-op with friends however that is still a blast, especially trying to collect all the in-game items.

Although the kids enjoy the game, the have completed it in less than 2 weeks! I would have thought that it should take longer... Game play is good as a single player, but becomes more fun with another player to assist. The two-player gaming requires coordination and constant communication between each player.

I should've looked closer online before buying, even though I love Kirby. I hate how this game is controlled only with the stylus. If they had an option to play even some levels with regular control I would be happy, but having to draw and not have as accurate of control isn't my cup of tea.

The claymation graphics are adorable. The drawing mechanic is solid and makes you think about where you are going to go and how a level will play out. for $39.99 this is a bargain and a good addition to your Wii U library.

I can't believe I'm giving a Kirby game anything less than five stars, but Nintendo fell a little short this time. In 'Rainbow Curse', you move Kirby by drawing rainbow ropes on the gamepad. It is a neat mechanic, and a fun game with unique graphics. However, you must be looking at the gamepad in order to play this game, so your TV is pretty much obsolete. I tried looking at the TV while I drew on the gamepad but this makes it very hard to be accurate with the rainbow ropes. In short, this game should have been on the DS. One thing they could have done to make the game more TV friendly, would be to 'draw' on the TV screen with the Wii remote. It would function like the stencil on the game pad, but just have a pointer on the screen to draw with when you aim the Wii remote at it.

The art style of the game is beautiful. The indirect control scheme can be frustrating though. And the fact that you aren't looking at the tv very often because you need to look at the gamepad most of the time.

An excellent followup to the DS game, Canvas Curse. Beautiful graphics and wonderful, colorful levels. Only downside is that the entire game is played with the stylus on the Gamepad. A shame that such a beautiful game cant be enjoyed on your television.
